It will be interesting to see if any USF staff will have anything to do with Michigan practices. IMG Academy is right in Taggart's recruiting wheelhouse along with the relationship he already has with Harbaugh. A lot of potential recruits at the Academy too. Shaver Manuel went there.

"Harbaugh plans to hold the first week of Michigan spring practices at IMG Academy in Florida during spring break, he said Wednesday. IMG is a private athletic training institute located in Bradenton, Fla., which has begun fielding a football team in recent years."

Smart recruiting move for Harbaugh.  Despite their friendship it wouldn't surprise me if CWT is not invited to the practice.  Harbaugh is all business when it comes to recruiting, despite friendships.

My first thought is that CWT will have his own spring practices he'll be running or prepping for, and 2nd thought is since we're not scheduled to play Michigan in the coming months or years, it probably wouldn't be a big deal if he was there.

That and Michigan recruits on a different tier than USF does. We rarely cross paths on the trail as Michigan usually only dips into FL for elite kids.

More reason for the B12 to expand into Florida.   Can't keep letting the B1G/SEC take over the world

When the Big 12 adds USF, USF will be recruiting the same or similar types of recruits. At least they'll be at the same level if not the same system. :GoBulls:

Can we please get a home and away series out of this relationship?

They pulled in 6 recruits from NJ this year, a little unusual for their recruiting grounds. If Harbaugh is down here on a more regular basis, the paths are gonna cross more frequently on the trail. Still, we have the "home team" thing going for us, and the more wins we get, the more attention they get and the more they want to stay home.

I think even with an increased presence we will still very rarely cross paths. Even back when we were in the BE we rarely crossed paths with Michigan. It happened more than it does now for sure but it was still rare.

Michigan isn't going thousands of miles for 3 star kids they're trying to up their presence with the 5 and 4 star elite kids. Now if we keep winning and end up in the B12 we would definitely find ourselves in some head to head battles.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
