Was going to be hard to make it with Lynch and Ward, but Flowers should have at least been honorable mention.  He had 31 total TD's and basically 3,000 yards of offense.

This. Flowers absolutely should have been an honorable mention, but you can't argue at all with the 3 QBs they listed above him. Flowers was clearly #4 in the league with PJ Walker from Temple the 5th best QB.

Keenan Reynolds 2015 stats:

Pass:

54% completion for 934 yard 6td 1int

Rush:

1,093 for 19 tds

Quinton Flowers 2015 stats:

Pass:

61% completion for 2,023 yard - 20tds 8 int

Rush:

883 and 10 Tds.

QF statistically has better numbers compared to Reynolds.

Neither Senat or Byrd got any love. Oh well.

Temple with 7 first teamers, 5 seniors and 2 juniors. They'll step back next year.

I saw 4 USF seniors listed of the 8 total.  Even though our punter didn't have the year some expected he will still be hard to replace.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS STUPID QUOTE FUNCTION.  IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY CLICK IT TWICE IT TOTALLY MESSES YOU UP.  THIS IS THE WORST FUNCTION ON THIS BOARD.

Now as I was going to say.  QF had a better year than PJ...by far IMO.

PJ passing 56%, 2450 yds 18 TD's 6 Int's

QF passing 61%, 2023 yards 21 TD's 8 Int.

PJ rushing 151 yards, 2 TD's

QF rushing 883 yards, 10 TDS

Total TD's  QF 31, PJ 20

Total yards  QF 2906, PJ 2601

So, QF has more passing TD's, more rushing TD's, more total TD's, higher completion percentage, and more total yards than PJ walker

I made sure to check the stats as well before posting. Not only did QF have the better overall stats, he had a blowout win in the head-to-head meeting between the two teams. I think PJ had a good season, but QF was better.

Flowers will get there next year. If the training wheels had been taken off earlier, kid could have had a more magical season. I wasn't impressed with Lynch, Walker, or Reynolds when we played them. Flowers has the "it" factor that I didn't really see out of those guys in our games at least. I think QF has a MONSTER year in 2016 with he and Mack dominating the conference.

Having said that, Flowers will get his recognition. Byrd being snubbed is a tragedy.

Byrd is not only the best player on our defense, but the best safety in the conference...it is ridiculous that he didn't make First team, let alone honorable mention.  He and Mack are hands down first teamers.

Byrd being snubbed is a major omission.   The bright side is that he is going to be paid.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
