It does give USC a leg up on getting a new coach.

Thus, it probably does not affect us one bit.

Not surprised about Spurrier and I would love to see him some on TV commenting on games live....or coaching here. Hey we have a golf course on campus HBC! He also said that if he would coach again, it probably wouldn't be as a head coach. Having him become our QB coach would solve myriad issues, no? Spurrier has been such a fixture in football for over 50 years...hard to imagine him just retiring and just golfing and mowing his lawn. I used to see him often when I used to gas up his Pontiac years ago at a gas station I worked at as a kid. He has a lot of ties throughout state of Florida for sure and he spent lots of time in Tampa when playing for the Bucs and head coaching the old Tampa Bay Bandits....Bandit Ball was a lot of fun especially with Spurrier coaching. Wouldn't be surprised one bit he takes a head coaching job at another college after splitting from S. Carolina.
