it starts in the womb if the fetus has a competitive spirit

you need to recruit competitive players

you need to recruit players that won in high school or juco

i have no idea why usf doesnt recruit juco players

Pretty sure Mike White, QF and Steven Bench all did well in high school.

Of everything Taggart has said in his post-games, this is one of the most concerning things to me. If they haven't LEARNED to win, then the people teaching them have failed. Who is responsible for teaching them?

A proven loser.

Well first you teach them how to be losers by not playing to your strengths and  don't strategize or prioritize.  Wait what are we talking about again?

I think we have a winner.

Learning to win is more about not being complacent with losing.  Not saying USF has this problem but wouldnt doubt some kids might.  If you've never had to work for something, many of these kids have just been better than the opposition, their whole life.  Now they have to try and some of them may not want to or know how to.  That whole everyone gets a trophy mentality too.  Once again not saying our athletes succumb to this, just a thought.

Who are our players supposed to learn to win from? Or is this one of those, "Those who can't, teach..." type of things?
