i would have brought in 2 juco qbs at a minimum

Yeah, because 2 crappy Jucos would have made all the difference.

I didn't know JPP was a QB before he came to us.

No, I did not.  I was referring to QBs.  If I remember correctly, there were no quality JuCo QBs available this past recruiting season.

I'm guessing they figured they were getting either Woulard or Litton, and at least this time, they probably got it right. I'd rather have 3 years of AW than 1 season of potential help for Taggart's career.

I knew what you were saying. For every Cam Newton (which there's about 1), there are a hundred roster fillers. This isn't baseball. You can't just grab a JuCo QB and plug him in. There are rarely even decent QBs available that route.

 

Maybe, Tay Bender. He was just about the the only guy we had a legit shot at. Of the 5 players who were actually ranked on 24/7 as Dual guys (since we declared we were moving to a spread offense), they went to Ole Miss, Ok State, San Jose, SE Missouri, and ECU. I think we can realistically agree we weren't getting the Ole Miss and Ok State guys. The San Jose guy is from CA. Odds are he wasn't coming to FL. The ECU guy went to ECU to play WR. So that leaves us... Tay Bender. Who is from Nebraska. It's entirely possible he just wanted to stay in the midwest since he originally went to KState, JuCo in the midwest. Eventually signed with a team in the midwest.
