If you go back and watch each of those screens, there is one thing missing in all of them.....an even half ass block by the other receiver over there, we dont have the blocking receivers to run this

Holding called when we tried to block

He couldn't even stop the tackling while holding.

Ha! No doubt. At least have the receiver gain some yards when you cheat!

You are right!

Actually we played wrong side like we have left handed catcher to throw to the 3rd base.

Screen was an epic failure vs. Maryland and they kept running it over and over again.   Poor play calling.

The play itself is not bad (saw it work a lot in the Colorado/CS game), it's just bad for US--we can't execute that. IMO it's too much to ask a WR to fight off 2 defenders for the 5 sec it takes to get the ball over there. Pass has to be delivered quickly and on a rope, and the play only works well if the defenders are giving a cushion...Maryland was not. We were fortunate on, like, the 4th try that it wasn't a pick6.

Tear that page out of the playbook, please. Or at least modify it like some are saying.

Exactly, they were tight to the line because there was no vertical passing game to respect.  Simple logic and simple observation, missed entirely by Willie "Short Bus" Taggart.

3rd and goal from the 5 and we run that play?? Hasn't worked the last two weeks. This is our Head Coach and he is to blame for the play calling. I've seen enough of the Willie Taggart experiment

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
