IMO it's too much to ask a WR to fight off 2 defenders for the 5 sec it takes to get the ball over there. Pass has to be delivered quickly and on a rope, and the play only works well if the defenders are giving a cushion...Maryland was not. We were fortunate on, like, the 4th try that it wasn't a pick6. Hasn't worked the last two weeks. This is our Head Coach and he is to blame for the play calling.
