I would take nothing from Bowling Green beating Maryland. nothing.

Except, FWIW, it's hurts our SOS, so beating MD may not seem like a quality win later...if it even matters.  still, beating a P5 team is a good thing.

Call me crazy. But we look like one of the top teams in the conference. If the defense can sure up the first tackle issue, we will have a great year. I'm not sure anyone else in conference besides maybe temple has FSU at 24 points late in the game. Florida State is just that good this year. I think they end up being better then last season. Seminoles look 10x improved on defense.

 

I like this USF team and where its heading. We should beat Maryland and hopefully no drama will be required.

Hope you're right but I don't see it.  Maryland can't stop the run when there is a threat to pass by the other team.  We are not a legitmate threat to throw.  We are 1 dimensional so all they have to do is stack the box and make us throw to beat them.  If QF can do it we will win.  I just don't see it.

Remember how bad SMU was last year and we needed late game heroics from White to win by one.  Maryland is going in to this game thinking this is a must win for them.
