Yes that call was terrible should have given Flowers a easier pass play.

Easier than a fade pass?

This statement alone explains why QF should not be our QB at this point in time.

Horrible how???? He's the reason we're in the game

Jeez, here we go again....are you related to QF or something ?

QF played a good controlled game, but the fact is he can't throw and/or accurately.

No we're not related. I'm just trying to get a gage on what you expect from a sophomore quarterback in Tallahassee vs.a extremely talented defense and secondary.

Did he miss a couple passes yes. Did he cost us the game? Did he put the team in jeopardy? I would say no to both. He made it competitive and kept us in the game. We only have so many weapons and we did what we could. FSU'S quarterback didn't fare too much better, if not for Cook... I mean who could have been back there to make you happy? What could have been done differently by the quarterback?

We go in expecting to get blown out and since that didn't happen we're pissed at the offense and qb???

Good points.

I just prefer a QB that throws a better ball and can make most of the necessary throws.

QF did very well for his 3rd start in unfriendly territory against a decent foe, he's improved from last year and hope he continues to improve.  Regardless of what he does this year I coubt he will be the starting QB next year.

I just want to win :)

After seeing just two passes from Woulard at practice..Flowers won't be starting next year.

That was my takeaway from seeing about 10, but it only took 2.

I'm thinking it's not so much the love of Bench ....

Sorta sensed that out here in the arid turf of the devil

How do other teams find serviceable QBs and we've gone 3 years with nothing at the position.  Kemp was the backup at ECU and came in after the starter got hurt and threw for over 300 yards and nearly beat the Gators in the swamp last night.  Driskel's brother at FAU was the backup and looked pretty darn good against Miami.

We have 5'9.5" RB masquerading as a QB that when he throws a pass you have an urge to grab your shotgun and bird dog.

Any update on Woulard?????

I think Holtz put all his eggs in the Woulard basket (ironic isn't it).

I know Ecu qb looked great and he wasn't even the starter.

We got squat at qb after 3 years and white the best one left.

I agree with smazza we should have gotten a few jucos, this team is just a qb away from being pretty good.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
