Finally, something slick and I can agree upon.  Baby steps happened back in 1997 with CJL at the helm, no reason to be taking baby steps nearly 20 years later, that's nonsensical even for a green goggler.

I know after this game there will be some who will go crazy with their predictions and reactions -we are either world beaters or we will not win another game.

 

For me, this game is the big unveiling of the new offense and defense, not to mention new starter QB in the revamped system. I just want to see if we have the fundamentals of what used to be a strong football program.

 

Baby steps, people!

If I see any shifting stuff from last season and that amoeba offense junk, I'm getting up from my seat and walking out.

 

I was promised a new offense, and I fully expect to see one!

I remember feeling sick by halftime during the McNeese State season-opener in 2006. But it all worked out...

 

              1st 2nd 3rd 4th Final

USF         0     7     7    27    41

McNeese  7     3     0    0      10

 

 

We went on to have a pretty good season that year.
