Yep, Vikings commentators. If it was a cover 2 zone, the safety blew it. If it was cover 2 man, both did. Mike looked slow though. Either way, looked bad.

 

I'll go with Ronde's assessment that the safety blew it for now ...

Yeah, RB has had a little exposure to D layouts, think you're safe there :thumbsup:

 

 

Especially the Cover 2 ...

Probably was Cover 2 Zone. Then again, they were lousy when they played Man too, the first Shaun Hill TD was Man coverage. No pass rush. You need that in Cover 2.

Even the safety slapped his chest after the play. Clearly even the safety knew that assignment was his.

The unenlightened were the ones who blew it off and don't really realize the significance of no pass rush and only one sack entire game. That's going to be really hard on the DBs, if that keeps up for the rest of the season. They'll be plenty more highlights like this one.

That is scary and hope it's not a foreshadowing for the season ... but the point being made was that MJ wasn't out of position and didn't give up.

@SI_PeterKing: RENTON, Wash.-Sea4: Rookie DE Frank Clark disruptive; rookie CB Tye Smith clingy in coverage. Converted QB BJ Daniels w/superb 1-hand catch.

BJ may be going back to QB this week with the Tavarius Jackson injury. He's the closest thing I've ever seen to an NFL version of a Ben Zobrist-like utility man. He's made a lot of Seattle fans love him. He played a lot of slot receiver and a lot of special teams in a lot of ways in game 1.

I just hope possibly having to play QB doesn't hurt his chances of playing elsewhere.

Isn't Kloss on a roster somewhere?

Was at Cleveland Browns rookie camp but I don't see him on the current roster.
