    I’ve never been more apathetic towards USF football. It’s sad. The defense looks like it’s from a lower league. 1 conference win in 3 seasons…. I got up to watch this game at 9 (west coast) but literally fell asleep again on the couch. That’s USF football in 2022.

    Scott will get at least 6 games… if we still look like a turd the next two week I think he gets canned shortly after game 6 or 7.

    For being a receivers coach of a championship team, it’s pathetic that we don’t get a passing TD until game 5 in his 3rd season of leadership. He doesn’t have the skill for hiring good coordinators or getting the players head in the right space. We saw vs Florida that the players and staff have much more potential than we are seeing each week. We have to find a coach who fires up the players and staff. That’s probably more important than being a good position coach or coordinator. Just fire up the athletes and let them run wild, that works at USF with our recruiting level.

    Such a weak tackle, should have taken him down, instead let’s him into the end zone. this coaching staff sucks.

    I can’t believe how bad this team is in year 3 of Jeff Scott. I don’t know who played the Gators. Why did we play them close but suck otherwise?

    I watch a lot of SEC football. The calls against USF this game were very uncharacteristic of SEC refs. The refs were very deliberate in trying to screw us.

    I don’t know, Taggart and Strong both had some serious run game and good blocking. I would say for a short time Charlie Strong had a really good Oline. But he had no creativity and the 1 dimensional offense became his biggest weakness.

    This was a great game. It hurts looking at the stats where we totally dominated UF except for an extra turnover. Really glad to see the quality of execution step up. Players executed flawlessly for the most part. Refs showed bias, which was very deliberate. I watch a lot of SEC football, and those flags are very uncharacteristic of the SEC. The SEC probably is the most lenient conference when it comes to pass interference and letting receivers and DBs fight over position. I thought those flags were because of AAC refs until I learned it was SEC refs then it was very obvious deliberate bias.

    Yeah, I don’t think he lasts long at UF. His halftime comments were completely wack. He said their offense was effective and moving the ball. But it was obvious the only reason they were up was a pick-6 and those insane penalties called against USF, not because of their offense execution. That’s why he got a question about it, and he showed complete delusion.

    UF sucks. our run game was good, but we had no pass threat. their line should be bowling is over, they even did a few times. we looked like the better team except the snap at the end of game.. UF got carried in the first half by phantom penalties.

    Refs are from visiting team. They are AAC refs. SEC refs allow tons of contact from receivers and DBs. I watch a lot of SEC.

    Delusion. USF plays nobodies and sucks. As an academic institution yes USF is just as good as many other average to below average schools in the P5. With respect to football, USF is on the same level as ECU and Tulane. Irrelevant to most college football fans and media companies.

    So depressing looking at the future AAC. In 2007-2008, when I was a USF freshman, this was inconceivable.

    Why would the big 10 not go with FSU or Miami?

    Team has been playing from behind early the entire season.

    All that matters is TV viewers and fanbase size. The money comes from TV deals with ESPN. Doesn’t matter if the team or university is good or bad. Just matters how much money the TV viewers can bring in.
