    I like Wilcox. He’s definitely a key player on this team. But if he ever sees the field on an NFL team (not preseason) I’ll be incredibly surprised. I don’t know why everyone here acted like he’s the second coming of Gronk. Even his “decision” to come back seemed over the top. ^ That being said, he’s still severely underused.

    This is a fantastic idea. I would seriously donate if I saw it. On another note, I'm currently at UF getting my Ph.D. and it is very surreal to see them currently putting the set together and stuff outside of the library. I would do anything for one day to happen on our campus.

    I’m sure FCS programs still sell jerseys. Now they can recruit FL kids with something like “imagine your jersey with your name inside of our bookstore for sale and proceeds go to your pocket.” I’d imagine that’s a pretty good selling point to a good high school ball player facing financial difficulties. Meanwhile, we’re stuck advertising Ray Jay.

    That’s the problem. With this kind of state law no athlete is going to want to play for us (in FL) and rather sign up for a D-II California school in an attempt to make some $$$. Recruiting would collapse.

    I don’t have a problem being a stepping stone program. It hasn’t hurt UCF’s success. Just no rethreads, we need a young offensive mind that kids can relate to.

    Why have I not gotten an ESPN notification telling me hes been fired yet?! Thought for sure that would’ve happened by now. Paying $5 mil over the course of the next years to get him out isn’t that impossible to manage. The quicker we do this the better of candidates we’ll have to choose from.

    We’ll probably win 3 more games this year and call it a season. But why are we so bad? Can someone tell me? I mean, we’re a big (population/market) school in Florida. The AAC should be cake for us. Yet we suck. I really don’t understand.

    The saddest part is that Heupel is an average OC at best, he was straight up fired by Oklahoma. But you know what is making him so successful at UCF? He kept what was working heavily for Frost and didn't change a thing offensively. If only Charlie had kept the GCO, possibly TJ Weist as offensive coordinator, we would still be as competitive as we were under Taggart. But no, he had to come in and mess everything up because he thought we "were scoring too fast" <-- direct quote - what a joke. Can we please please please hire someone who hasn't had the game of football pass them by like it obviously has for Charlie?

    I kind of feel bad for BB. He has like a wife and kid to feed, but yeah, he just lost his starting job. McCloud is the guy.

    Charlie needs to realize if he doesn’t win this game he might not have a job tomorrow. He’s gotta bring in McCloud and hope for the best. He needs to do SOMETHING.
