    Oh God no. Larry Scott was a terrible terrible OC at Tenessee. It was hard to watch while rooting for him. I’m telling you, it was baaad. I dig the USF homerism but not this time.

    BYU being awarded a Natty is total garbage. Not fair at all to have 26 year old men playing football against 19-year-olds.

    Did everyone forget his awful decision to run the ball late in the 4th?! This guy is still not the answer. We need someone with guts, from the outside, with a fast paced no holds barred offense.

    Normally I agree with this kind of thinking and believe that a fan base should be patient but did you watch the last season and a half? If our players had demonstrated any kind of fight, any glimer of hope at all I’d be in favor of keeping Strong. But this team is too much like the Holtz’s teams of past. Their lack of caring, lack of fundementals, lack of will to fight till the end. That all stems from coaching. Strong is a certified loser, ask Texas. To keep him is a long term mistake.

    Its gotta suck to be Michael Kelly. You want to fire Strong. You know you should fire Strong. But you really can’t fire Strong...until you really have an allaby when the team goes 3-9 next year. However, the damage will be almost irreversible by then. Then everyone is just constantly gonna say how much you suck as an AD. Terrible situation.

    USF always has hidden money somewhere up their ass except when it comes to building an OCS. But we got a hell of a settlement from the Big East. We’ll be fine firing this clown.

    I remember when I applied to USF in 2008, the rising football team was a big factor in my decision. Definitely not the case anymore. Serious question though, can anyone name ANY other team in the FBS who has taken as much of a fall as we have? I honestly don’t think there is. From #2 ranking in the BCS to getting beaten by a CUSA team in a crap bowl game at home (plus everything else in between - McNeese State etc.). Was being in the Big East actually a negative thing which spoiled us as a fan base?

    What a shame that USF has left a Scarlet Letter on this man forever. Especially after being so loyal for so long. He had a contract from Alabama all printed out and everything. Truly sad.
