The site is seeking one member to, in an official capacity, score and oversee the upcoming 2019-2020 Basketball Prediction Contest. This requires: Commitment to contest maintenance and upkeep from October - April for all Bulls Basketball games Full and precise understanding of scoring methodology (unchanged from previous years) Timely recap of scores and identification of winners within 12 hours Occasional fill-in to create thread if not created by Admin at least 48 hours prior to game start The Basketball Prediction Contest is one of the longest running traditions at The Bulls Pen. It's the standard for USF Basketball prediction contests. At times, the contest has had more than 100 participants. The Basketball Prediction Contest Director will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the contest - and, as importantly, the fun! This is a significant time commitment. I will provide a spreadsheet for scoring purposes, but keeping up with the 30+ games requires a personal commitment to the contest and fellow members! The Basketball Prediction Contest Director remains eligible to participate in the contest. If you can commit the time to managing the contest, please apply. Any questions can be direct to @Brad via PM.
  19. Welcome to the 2018-19 TheBullsPen.com Basketball Prediction Contest The race for the mildly prestigious Bulliever's Cup is on! To start, let's look back at the last three games that needed scoring, happened to be the CBI three game series against the Blue Demons of DePaul. Game 34 - Winner is @MikeG with a resounding 48 points, surging towards the top of total points category. Game 35 - Winner(s) are @MikeG, @JJZbulls and @flsportsfan83 each coming in with 37 points. The competition committee will be investigating collusion allegations. I'll have to see if I have enough of the mini-pilsners to go around. Interesting thing about this game was only one person selected the leading scorer, LaQuincy Rideau (+5 points) but got no additional contest points because Rideau scored 35 points, 18 higher than the participant's estimate of 17. Game 36 - Winner is @TakeItOrLeavitt, a long time board member that made his first entry into the contest on its last game! Yetna who became the default rebounding pick left goose eggs for everyone as Collins let the team in scoring and rebounds. Season totals on the way....
