    Not to stir the pot but I remember a good amount of you talking **** about Taggart’s field presence and “deer in the headlights look,” and now we all wish he was still here. All it takes is for that ONE recruit (aka Flowers) to change a program and perception of a head coach around. I hope Charie can get him, not cause I like him, but for the sake of USF football.

    He was an offensive program coordinator at USF in 2009. While technically not a positions coach, we kind of just called everyone around the athletics building and football program “coach.” I was star struck when I first met him, but it kind of went away after trying to hold a conversation with him. Still, he IS a playing legend here regardless.

    As someone who used to work for athletics when I was a student, I can tell you that I never understood a word that came out of Coach Blackwell’s mouth. He also seemed lost all the time. I’m grateful for what he did as a player, but he’s not our savior as a coach by any means.

    Ray Jay isn’t even that good of a current NFL stadium anyways. It was, 20 years ago, but not anymore. Make upgrades like Hard Rock Stadium and then maybe. I’d trade it for UCF’s atmosphere and tailgating on campus ANY. DAY.

    I would love to see TJ Weist as our offensive coordinator. He ran the Gulf coast offense to perfection during the bowl game and even went for an unnecessary 2 point conversion which I loved. Takes balls to do that. Bring Weist back as OC!

    For that to happen, first there needs to be SOME USF fans in attendance to do so.

    Its going to be disheartening to see and hear 40K+ UCF fans jumping and singing at a “USF home game.” $50 says it still happens because everyone is clueless all the time.

    a stadium on the USF campus that we could truly call ours without a pirate ship in the endzone would be a dream.

    Nah he was in the pocket without any rush on a 3rd down. Not a situation to throw the ball away. It was a god awful throw. Trust me.

    Hes the best we got. Did you guys not see Kean throw a ball 10 feet above everyone’s heads on the field onto the other sideline last game. I literary laughed out loud. Hes not good either.

    Still don’t get how FAU is able to build this (better than UCF IMO) at 80 mil, yet USF admin and fans believe than a decent ON CAMPUS stadium would cost hundreds of millions that “we don’t have.” Pure BS.

    Why does everyone seem to think King is some kind of offensive mastermind? What gives people that idea? Or is it just Buccaneers homerism? He used more for recruiting purposes than anything else, all-a Marquel Blackwell.

    I dont think CJL will ever be involved with USF unless its in a ceremonial aspect ever again. Nevertheless, WHAT a fall from grace for Petrino. Geeeeez.
