    Still angers me that FAU (a historically smaller program than ours) had the financial resources, administrative backing, etc. for a sweet OCS that allows for them to determine fan status and such. Meanwhile USF... beatingdeadhorse.jpg Theirs also makes C's REALLY look like a dump.

    Dang, I actually enjoyed having a winning record against ND. Probably won’t be the case when the series is over. Used to tease my buddy who went to ND about it, better milk it these next couple of days.

    Willie T will take his usual 3-4 years to get the ball rolling at his new job so I doubt FAU will be ranked higher than us by the end of the year. FIU however, is becoming a solid team under Butch Davis.

    Willie T had a successful tenure overall. Had most wins in a season in program history and pretty much led us all the way to finishing a season ranked for the first time (something Leavitt never accomplished). Who knows how good we would’ve been by now had he just stayed. The AAC is a conference where you can be dominant by just outrecruiting the competition rather than Xs and Os.

    I swear this preseason hype sucks. It’s actually got me thinking we could be pretty good. If we end up sucking then I’ll learn to never believe anything ever again.

    THIS is how you use an NFL stadium to your recruiting advantage. Its cool to promise kids from the bay more scrimmage/practice opportunities at the Bucs stadium rather than just on Saturdays. Have we ever used Ray Jay like this beside just spring games?
