How many alums are currently coaching somewhere? We need to get true Bulls back into the helms of this program. I only know of Larry Scott (who has unfortunately gotten off to a terrible start at Howard) and Calvin Magee.

Don't let the door hit ya Jamie. We're in a bad rut now but it's mostly because of a bad HC hire in Strong that catered our program. But it's happened before with Holtz and we got out of it (until Strong). I'm sure that had Harlan hired either Lane Kiffin or Mario Cristobal (or at least someone who didn't want to completely dismantle what was working for us with complete crap and no recruiting) after Taggart left we would've maintained a winning culture, and probably would be relatively in the same spot as UCF now. Strong just caused too much damage, but we'll fix it, even if it takes half a decade, we'll be back to winning soon enough and I will be more than satisfied in myself for being ones that stuck all the way through when all yall crybabies come back.

Sure Fortin will start the game, but does anyone think he will finish it? He will either get pulled for sucking (again), get hurt (again), or the score will be such a blow out that the coaching staff puts in McClain for some reps. Gotta suck to be him, only way he finishes this game is if it's close all the way, which it won't be. Dude's psyche is gonna be messed up. At this point I'd just ride McClain all the way through the season under the banner of him "being the future that has to go through freshman growing pains etc."

Winning an fbs game might be nice. Except we’re definitely gonna still have to wait a couple more weeks for that.

While the WVU game is undoubtedly our peak, its unrealistic to expect USF to have that kind of atmosphere for every game (although it should be the goal). In terms of a more realistic and still awesome goal for us to try and attain again I always refer back to this video against UNC. The lower bowl being completely packed (40K+), the student section being so loud the qb cant hear the play, an awesome atmosphere in general against an average opponent - this IMO is where the program needs to be on a yearly basis…with an OCS

I just hope Weiss doesnt call solely qb read runs or screen plays on all 3rd downs. His ultra conservative playcalling needs to be scrutinized.

If USF athletics came out tomorrow and began an official donation fund for an OCS with a $200M goal, how many of us would donate day one? I know I would. Why hasnt this begun? Why hasnt it even been an option for years? Im sure we couldve had an OCS years ago had this been the case. Give fans/alumni the opportunity to directly contribute to an OCS fund while also pledging your own support from the university, its not that hard to figure out. Seriously!

Who said anything about a 35K stadium? I said when we had 35K+ fans attending games.

The other thing that irks me is that had we built an OCS at our peak when 35K+ fans were coming out regularly, it might’ve done wonders for the North Tampa community. People don’t realize that other business infrastructure comes along (granted its mostly bars and stuff) with an OCS. Every time one of my HS students comes back from touring USF, they always talk about how **** the surrounding area is and how there is nothing to do it seems like (besides drive 25+ minutes to get to South Tampa). It’s just a shame everything USF athletics could’ve done when they should’ve.

Sorry man but even undefeated C-USA and Sun Belt teams don't usually get invited to those. That's what we are now...

And just like that we are now rivals with FAU. Holy crap...
