Why did it take us so long to build a friggin IPF and stuff. Leavitt was begging for one in the mid 2000s. I remember reading that applications for USF rose like crazy with the success of football (me being an example), why didn't the university see the silver lining and spend more on what was helping the college grow in national exposure and students? So freakin sad man.

What I have personally just witnessed as a USF fan since 2009 is nothing short of a Shakespearean play. Between us thinking we're too good to play UCF to this...wow.

The hiring of Charlie Strong will be looked back upon as the moment USF football was destroyed. "This offense is too fast, we need to slow it down" will forever haunt me in my sleep.

The only real silver lining I could take away from this car crash was seeing the true freshmen on the field. They showed some spark at times and demonstrated how bad the talent recruited by Strong was/is. McClain was able to come in and get the offense moving better than Fortin and Horn was able to get great separation a couple of times. Honestly when the two best players are true freshman that says a lot about the current team but also the fact that we are being recruited to improve which is a good thing. Our biggest problem IMO is the current talent on the field, but if we can take a couple more recruits like McClain and Horn, and watch them grow and develop, we could be decent again (or at least better than the steamin' pile of dog **** currently on the field right now). **** you Charlie Strong.

McClain is the future. Start him every game and have him practice with the first team from here on, no question. He looked good for a true freshman, hopefully he will grow and learn to protect the ball. Between him and Horn, you can definitely see the new talent coming in is in the right direction.

It's not like Taggart was winning many games early on while recruiting studs like Flowers, Mack, Adams, etc. In fact, we were god awful.

The good thing about starting McClain is CJS can go into stud HS recruits's house and say, "you can come in here and play game one like him or you can ride the bench somewhere else" and it might help recruiting which is step #1 towards fixing a **** team.

I am sick of Weiss and his **** playcalling on 3rd down. This was an issue last year and it rears its head on our first drive. Seriously, he sucks.

Everyone come to this NC State game with the expectation that we are supposed to lose by more than two TDs (like Vegas expects). That way we’ll all be either REALLY pleasantly surprised or what we expected and then all good.

Man, I really hope we don't lose by more than 19... That would basically ruin the rest of the season already.

Actually Adidas was less money! Which makes it even more dumbfounding. USF strikes apparel deal with Adidas USF sports teams will be outfitted in Adidas gear starting next summer. "While providing more in apparel to USF over the course of the contract, the Adidas partnership gives less cash to USF than its Under Armour deal."
