    I appreciate the detailed response and see a lot of your points. Except we currently have a better recruiting class than FAU (where Taggart currently works). If Taggart would've been THAT much better for the future of USF then his current recruiting says otherwise. Right now Scott is out recruiting Taggart. And if you're going to compare our current record to that of FAU then remember that Taggart was given an awesome conference championship team left by Kiffin rather than this flaming turd that Scott has to rebuild from scratch. Don't know if Taggart would have that much of a better overall record than Scott currently does as demonstrated by awful his stint with a bad FSU team.

    So out of the candidates that we had for our opening, knowing that Leavitt can never be an option, who would you have wanted to get the job instead of Scott? Do you truly believe any of the other realistic candidates is better suited than Coach Scott for the current USF job? And if you say "I don't care I only want Leavitt" then that demonstrates a total disconnection from the reality of the present.

    Leavitt's gone and never ever coming back (unless it's for some sort of halftime ceremony). Why wallop over something as pointless as this for so long? The result is never going to change...

    Well he was a coach on the team, so obviously he played a role - the question would be to what extent. After 1981, Clemson had been a mid-major team until coach Swinney and his staff (including Coach Scott believe it or not) showed up and created a monster. They were so regular that they lost to a Skip Holtz-coached USF team. Yes they have an awesome stadium, but this did not equal championships until recently, there is no denying that. Now chill.

    I’ll be at UCF. Which sucks because the sight of UCF fans cheering and celebrating in Ray Jay is the worst thing on earth.

    Coach Scott is a champion. He witnessed the rise of Clemson from getting beat by USF in a bowl to seemingly a playing for a national championship every year. He saw what it takes and took part in the culture and attitude change to get them there. But it didn’t happen over night. Our program was left an FCS dumpster fire. Everyone chill the **** out and let year 0 play out. We are who we thought we were...for now.

    We lost so many games by less than a touchdown, always with like 2 minutes left too. I honestly think he could've succeeded, it was just so a drastic change from Leavitt's persona to Skip's. People say he couldn't recruit a QB but It makes me wonder if Asiantii Woulard would've stayed committed had we not fired Skip. Granted Asiantii's career kind of crumbled but it seemed like his constant transferring of programs and stuff messed with his head, at least he could handle a snap and throw a tight spiral unlike Matt Floyd. The biggest nail in the coffin was Chris Cosh. Had Skip hired a decent DC in 2012 instead of Cosh who knows what would've happened...
