  1. 3 months into the year and we are still Un-Da-Feet-Ed!!!
  2. That game featured the most impressive forced fumble I have ever seen, when Selvie darted though the line and stripped their QB on a handoff play at the end of the first quarter
  3. I noticed that too - 213 people and a CA SB admin and Purcell are highlighted I started to watch the video, but it is 33 min long - did the Polk Sheriff actually mention them or did News Channel 8 pull the names from the public record? To be fair, any football player, from any of the D1 schools in Florida, who gets arrested is probably going to make the news
  4. I am just curious as to how desperate someone needs to be in-order to pay for action in Polk County - i mean, there are some places out there where the term tooth brush is quite literal
  5. Kit sounds more European Similar to soccer, the kit in cycling is the entire uniform set (shirt, bib shorts, gloves, socks)
  6. The USF Cycling Team needs help completing their 2023 Kit Order - since these are custom kits, Ale requires a minimum buy They need 5 more bib/shirt orders and a few skin suit orders Anyone who is interested in a kit can find the information on the USF Cycling Team’s Facebook Page -https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063130184023 Nothing says fan support better than crushing your Strava Segments and getting KOMs, while wearing a USF Kit!
  7. Fan culture has to come before winning - didn’t you learn anything from CJS?
  8. Wish our players looked like this today - those guys looked like they ate lightning and crapped thunder
  9. If he went 11-1 in year one, I would think that TBP would implode Also, what is the magic number of year one wins for VPMK to offer him a double-digit year contract extension?
  10. WVU was our best recurring series by far - both teams were good, the games had conference and national implications (if we had won in ‘05, we may have taken the BCS slot), the games were well attended by the visiting teams, all games were entertaining and memorable, since out of state travel was involved, there was good money for the local economies WVU is definitely a team that I would like to see USF renew games with As a side note - we have both been irrelevant since the demise of the BE, so maybe renewing the games could be a lift for both teams
  11. Which begs the question as to why Scott would return there if he still has a desire to be a HC someday Either: 1) He has no clue why he failed at USF or 2) He has no desire to address his coaching deficiencies as they relate to being a head coach My guess is that it is #2 and he has accepted the fact that his head coaching days are over
  12. OA at Alabama would have been smart or alternately a position coach at any of the top programs Instead, he went the safe route back to what he knows and is familiar with I can’t blame the guy for wanting to go home, but after 11 years at Clemson, there is probably little there left for him to learn and clearly, what he has already learned at Clemson was nowhere near enough to make him successful on his own
  13. Not that I really care, but by taking that job, Scott has basically shut the door on any hopes of being a head coach again If all he knows is Clemson, then nobody else is going to take a risk on him again
  14. Urban Meyer is still out there, ready for his chance at USF. I just checked on Art Briles - looks like he is coaching in the Italian Football League (WTF), so I am sure he would jump ship to come to USF as well Petrino is now OC at Texas A&M, so we probably are not able to get the whole band back together. . .
  15. Our attendance really started to pick up after we started winning in year 3, which is nice
  16. I am curious about your opinion of TCU, considering they came from the MWC and will be playing for a NC in less than a week Also, Pitt was ACC champs in ‘21 and Cuse/UL have been ranked in the past few years (Cuse did have an epic losing streak this year though) I agree that WVU has been a head scratcher and other than a few years in the B/E, Rutgers has been hopelessly pathetic in football
  17. I did not remember him, so just read his bio Pretty neat that a guy who did not play collegiate football has moved up so high in the coaching ranks
  18. I’d settle for interesting football at this point, which for me, means having a reason to stay past halftime in 2023
  19. That could be risky, I mean we do play BYU again in 2026 and we don’t want to be giving anything away
  20. This is because the vaunted Clemson playbook has nothing in it about dealing with adversity CAG seems to have a more rounded coaching resume, specifically coaching on bad teams in Toledo and Illinois, where they made some progress turning things around - hopefully this makes the difference
  21. Especially considering there was a 4 week gap between when CJS was fired and CAG was hired, as well as the fact that CAG only had just over two weeks to pick up the pieces I liked that we picked-up what appears to be some big bodies for the O-Line, I am sure that we will see more D-Line signings as we move towards February
