That really is the difference between CJL and our other 4 coaches. CJL was building for the long haul, while the other 4 (despite whatever they said along the way), were trying to win as quickly as they could, so that they could get their payday gig with another school
I really like Jim Leavitt as a coach and I am grateful for what he did at USF. At the same time, I just don’t think that at 65 and 13 years removed from a head coaching job, he could bring the same passion and structure back to the program at this time
