  1. Sure, offense wins games and defense wins championships - we are probably not winning a championship this year, so why not have some offensive fun
  2. I have always preferred offense to defense, so I am excited that we may finally get back to the GCO days I would love to see them come out full throttle against WKU - maybe CAG is a disciple of the Taggert philosophy of you win when you score more points then you give up
  3. That was one of the best hype videos USF ever produced - the combination of imagery (AJ Love popping up with horns on his helmet), combined with great highlights and voiceover from Gladiator, is just as awesome now as it was when it was released in 2009 Keep in mind that the 2009 team may have been our best ever talent wise, so the marketing team had a lot to work with
  4. Not necessarily - it is a fact that we are currently undefeated under CAG It is also a fact that CAG is undefeated as a head coach How many other D1 programs can claim these two glorious facts?
  5. IDK, wouldn’t that basically also be a moratorium on certain members posting?
  6. Unfortunately, short term you are probably right - my hope is that CAG is able to turn things around to where people are once again coming to see USF, not our opponents
  7. I miss the days when we had 35k+ actual fans in the stands, not just a number on a piece of paper Here’s hoping CAG can Fill That Stadium Up!
  8. As a fan, there is no USF film from the last 3 years that I want to watch, so both WKU and the USF fan base are all in the same wait and see boat
  9. Whatever it is, it would be tough to do worse than what we have seen the past three years, so we have that going for us, which is nice
  10. Except for allowing a 4th and 24 conversion, then a 20 yard QB scramble for TD with 11 seconds left . . .
  11. Win or lose, these videos remind all of us what collegiate sports are really about - young men and women working hard to achieve goals that will hopefully result in a degree I love seeing these videos, especially the excitement from his teammates
  12. The 2005 UConn Game would also be a factor as that was a 15-10 loss, with a win keeping us on-track to the BCS (chances are we would have lost to WVU even if we beat UConn) Both the ‘05 and ‘07 games had head scratcher plays - Voodoo 5 and the 3rd down naked bootleg For me, the emotional choice is Rutgers in ‘07. The big picture choice is UCF in ‘17 We probably end up in the AAC regardless of what happens in ‘05 or ‘07, but if we win in 2017, there is a good chance that we are in the Big12 now as opposed to UCF
  13. If you are going to bring up Kerwin Bell, you have to post the video - I mean, this never really gets old
  14. Pathetic - can VPMK use this nugget to get us into the Big12 instead of CF? Asking for a friend
  15. The ask from the disappointed fans is pretty basic - use a coach speak phrase other than “culture”
  16. Ok - I see your point and choose to be believe that “building” is a verb based on tangible actions referenced in Kelly’s statement, like the IPF and OCS My personal preference is that all members of the athletic department lay-off the term “culture” until we actually start winning FBS football games (plural)
  17. Per the article “Kelly said the school’s initiative to improve its athletic facilities shows a commitment to building a winning culture for its sports programs — especially football.” It was not a direct quote though, so given the fact that the author messed up Barrington’s last name, maybe he took some liberty in reporting what MK actually said
  18. Walt Walker - he was a monster on the 2007 o-line, yet was overshadowed by Dile, Schmidt, Huners, Griffin and others
  19. I am not sure where you have been, but the AAC has been a P6 conference for years (at least in Aresco’s delusional world)
  20. Well . . . legally speaking, the American is the successor to the Big East as founded in 1979, so Big East Football was not killed off, it just became the quagmire of the AAC Also, I am not a lawyer, but I am currently staying at a Holiday Inn Express
  21. Certainly makes me stay at the game beyond halftime
  22. Yes, but in that case, it was really only 2 years (‘13 & ‘14), unless you count the end of 2012 after BJ got hurt
