    Looking back, he was doomed from the start due to the following: 1) Sticking with Clemson rather than jumping right in with USF (already mentioned by someone else) 2) Poor sub tier coaching choices - his initial coordinators on offense and defense did not install systems based on the existing talent 3) Trying to install another school’s road map for success instead of looking at what has worked at USF - this is probably the #1 thing that sank him 4) Not recognizing issues on the defensive side earlier Unfortunately, his head coaching career is probably over (or at least will require a long rehab in the coordinator ranks)

    I actually a bit surprised that we are both favored in the betting line and on ESPN I looked up the unit rankings - USF is 89/130 (offense/defense), whereas Temple is 125/42 So this game really comes down to whether or not USF can score offensively.

    Bringing in high paid assistants would really undermine my value proposition and quite possibly jeopardize my 0-12 guarantee You do bring up a good point about staff however - I am thinking Outlaw for OC, as per his posts on TBP, he employs a consistent multi prong offensive strategy You can certainly be my DC, while Puc will be special teams I am sure that we can find jobs for the rest of the TBP regulars and still save USF money!

    I did some scouting for you on retread USF coaches and Bobby Paschal is available (he is however 81). Remarkably, Antigua and McCullum both have gigs, while Seth Greenberg appears to still be at ESPN

    IDK - VPMK has been speaking to fans on Twitter and you know only the most sane and rational individuals voice their concerns on that platform

    I just don’t get VPMK - first, he is silent for weeks, then he decides to engage fans on Twitter, which IMO, is the deepest of the social media cesspools? Trying to spin a 1-7 season/4-25 coach is challenging - as you stated, some sort of Facebook Event, press conference or letter to the fans is a better bet for him. Fans will be angry regardless, but like you said, it is something and he can control the messaging much better as opposed to trading blows in the Twitter Mud.

    CCS certainly did not get a raw deal - there is also the basic fact that CJS was VPMK’s hire and CCS was not, so CJS is going to get a little more leeway Besides, for all we know, VPMK may be planning on dispensing with CJS at the end of the year (one can always dream)

    There is some logic here - after all, Charlie did go 10-2, 7-6, 4-8 (downward trend), while Scott has gone 1-8, 2-10 and so far 1-7 and climbing

    I was kind of thinking Marsh, but he has already stated that the grass is basically not always greener - he is listed as a sophomore, but he might have 3 years of eligibility (he would have gotten the Covid year and I can not remember if he took a redshirt as well)

    Always good to have a retuning QB It is going to be a crowded QB room though - I wonder if anyone will transfer based on this (most of the other QBs were probably thinking GB was a one and done)
