    This part makes zero sense. UConn's value is not in football. "Blaudschun wrote there was some talk about football-only invitations, a move "that would be easiest for BYU and UConn." He said UConn "presumably has a landing spot for its other sports in the Big East" if a Big 12 football invitation is made."

    Joey Knight simply doesn't take pride in his work. Take Greg Auman for example. He is a UF grad and worked his butt off covering the USF beat. He was eventually rewarded with a promotion to the Bucs beat where he's also doing an excellent job. I can see him eventually elevating his career to the national level. Joey is content with doing the bare minimum, and will have a very hard time progressing from where is now. He should consider himself lucky to still be where he is.

    It's only a matter of time before USF passes FSU. They've been stagnant for years.

    This is a big accomplishment, but what has come from all of the research? Has USF developed or discovered anything groundbreaking? Are they close to a breakthrough with anything? I'm asking because I simply don't know.

    Memphis is a finesse team playing another far less talented finesse team in SMU. When they've gone up against smash mouth, aggressive defenses like Temple, and even USF to a certain extent, they've folded.

    Danny Hope is a phenomenal offensive line coach. Have to think he'll get OC consideration from some P5 schools in the offseason.

    Rain favors pass offense. Receivers typically know their routes and don't have to quickly make adjustments while often backpedaling like defensive backs do, which leads to slipping.

    Is there a chance that the Big 10 votes to remove them from the league? They could get by with 13 until the ACC Grant of Rights runs out, or poach another team from the Big 12.

    I don't think we'll see many AAC teams go on prolonged runs due to coaching turnover. Temple, Houston, and Memphis will all lose their coaches to P5 programs in the next 1-3 years. UCF is on a downswing, but losing O'Leary to retirement won't help unless they hire a big name (which will be unlikely if he's promoted to AD and Key promoted to head coach). Chad Morris won't be at SMU long if he sees success. But If Tuberville is content at Cincy, maybe they end up dominating the league for a few years.

    Can we catch FSU in the next 10 years? We were 183 in the 2011 rankings. We are definitely on pace to do that. We already have a lower acceptance rate, higher average gpa, and our SAT/ACT scores are almost identical. We seem to be ascending while they are treading water. We need to elect more USF legislators into positions in Tallahassee. Their law school is really what is keeping them afloat. Flip that and I think we'd be ahead by now.
