  1. If it comes to it, I hope local taxpayers don't foolishly agree to pay for a new Rays stadium. Owners should privately finance all new places of business.
  2. There's a lot of misinformation in this thread. General parking for USF games is $15 for cars, $45 for campers, and buses are $60. http://raymondjamesstadium.com/attending-an-event/directions-and-parking/parking-prices/
  3. the "we're number 1" salute is going to have to get more creative now, too...shame. he has 2 hands
  4. It's amazing to think how under appreciated he was by a lot of fans. I have to admit that I feel silly for criticizing him at times.
  5. Flyer and marketing aspect aside, this is not a bad thing for the program. It's open to 9th graders and above, so the more high school quarterbacks we get on campus the better. We need as much exposure with these kids as we can get.
  6. Discuss the staff's qualifications to teach kids QB fundamentals. Keep in mind that the ad features Grothe, Blackwell, and Daniels, all of whom the current staff didn't coach. http://www.thebullspen.com/gallery/image/216-qb-academy/ http://www.usffootballcamps.com/willie-taggart-quarterback-academy.cfm
  7. He begged for a job at USF and never was offered. Can't blame him for moving on and actually landing a better job.
  8. We would be lucky to have a stadium like UCF's. Playing off campus in a half empty NFL stadium is an awful experience.
  9. How long can we expect to keep Kingston? Do baseball coaches jump around?
  10. Hope it's a rock solid reason. History reminds me a little of Kareem Canty .... Texas A&M freshman guard Shawn Smith has been ruled a partial qualifier and thus will be ineligible to play this season, coach Billy Kennedy said Saturday. Smith, a 6-4 native of Jacksonville, Fla., will be allowed to remain on scholarship and practice with the Aggies but won’t be allowed to play until the fall of ’13 as a redshirt freshman. He will have four years of eligibility remaining. He has had a wild ride to Texas A&M. He first committed to Central Florida in January of 2011 but then later switched to Missouri in August of 2011. He changed his mind again in March of this year, when he signed with Texas A&M. http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-basketball/story/2012-11-03/texas-am-freshman-shawn-smith-ruled-ineligible Sounds like he followed the cash. Those TAMU bag men are convincing.
  11. @TBTimes_Bulls2 minutes ago Among the 'old-school' Bulls participating: Eveld, Giddins, Carlton Mitchell, Eppes, Bravo-Brown
  12. Not saying this represents the majority of that number, but some people milk the financial aid system and live off of loans and grants.
  13. My tickets are cheaper per game this season. Thanks Harlan!
  14. A scandal would do more harm than a successful women's tennis program would do good. Women's tennis does nothing for the university.
  15. I see that FAU isn't ranked. I'm not too familiar with the school, but is it decent?
  16. 100% agree. Unless the stadium is privately funded, it doesn't make sense. The P5 will be in a completely different world sooner than later.
  17. Harlan responded to this on Twitter yesterday. Sounds like Game Day won't be on because of the US Open. @MarkHarlanUSF: “@joeysuarez: @MarkHarlanUSF I've never heard of an 11:30am kickoff on ESPNWon't college game day still be on?†RE: US Open on that day
  18. Once they complete the brick facade it's going to look pretty good. Like a mini Doak. I'd like something similar for USF from the start.
  19. Agreed. The split between the P5 and Go5 is coming. USF will be fortunate to continue to call Ray Jay home when that happens. The conference and TV money won't be there to build and sustain an IPF or OCS.
