  1. Early projections say Oregon hosts CFP game at Autzen in 2024 (msn.com) Ducks vs. Bulls...
  2. I haven't been this excited to watch a USF game in years.
  3. The IPF looks like the Oregon's old one built in 1997. It's the black building on the right with yellow "O" on the side. The large glass one on the left will be the new one in 2026. We are not even close to catching up. University releases plans for a future indoor practice facility The 170,000-square-foot building, funded with private gifts, is expected to open in 2024
  4. Same conference unfortunately. Who would want to pick a team that's been lousy for a while with a proposed 35k stadium? If we get into a new conference the stadium needs to be bigger so that other team's fans can come watch their team and vacation at the same time. It should be 55k not 35k. Also, the IPF looks a bit like the one Oregon built in 1997. They have plans for a new one in 2026 that makes the old one look like a warehouse. You have to keep up with other schools' facilities. We are only playing catch up. Just my 2 cents. University releases plans for a future indoor practice facility The 170,000-square-foot building, funded with private gifts, is expected to open in 2024
  5. If CJL can't be rehired then it's time to get onboard the Lane Train. Oops sorry, Kiffin wouldn't coach this dumpster fire. Ok, bring back Skippy. No wait....I can't think of anybody that would want this job and I don't blame them.
  6. Patience is needed here. I live in Oregon and have 2 daughters that play(16&11) so I watch a lot of volleyball including taking them to Oregon duck an OSU beavers games. A good recruiting class just came in and added much needed height. Two years from now they won't be 7-13 in the conference. This isn't Pac12 or Big10 volleyball much like our football team won't be Alabama anytime in the near future...if ever. I predict that in 2 years the team will be at least .500 in conference play but next years recruiting class will tell if the program is indeed on the rise or not. The best players in the country go to Nebraska, Texas, Penn State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, USC, & Florida. You get my point I'm sure. Be patient.
  7. This is the best move for CWT. The Uncle Phil/Nike money won't last forever(Uncle Phil is 80). UCLA just hired Chip Kelly. Herm Edwards to ASU. USC always gets good players. Stanford is good most of the time now...Washington is back in the top 10...even Washington State is pretty good. The Pac 12 will not contend for the national championship due to everyone beating each other. FSU has to only get by Clemson, Miami, and a few others. What? BC, Duke, Wake, Syracuse, etc....you see my point. Tally isn't a great city but there is nothing to do in Eugene, Oregon. Absolutely the best thing for CWT and good for Coach Jim. DC at FSU is better than being head coach at USF any day. USF is a stepping stone not a destination. Strong will be out soon too.
  8. I have some insight on this...My grandparents lived just east of B'ham and I've driven from Tampa to B'ham more times than I can count. We have driven it several ways over the years and the best way is still up 75 to Atlanta and west on 20. DON'T go the back way through Albany, Columbus, Phoenix City. Although it cuts about 30 minutes off the drive it's extremely boring. If you break down in a small town will pay extra since you're an outsider. Stick to 75 even if the traffic is bad. Timing through Atlanta is critical so get to I-20 before 4pm at the latest. Drive time from Tampa to B'ham should be about 9 1/2 hours if you hit Atlanta correctly. I repeat....DON'T go the back way. Sheriff Buford T. Justice will be looking out for you and you will get a huge speeding ticket. Not worth the hassle.
  9. Les Miles won 77% of his games and he got fired so apparently winning only goes so far.
  10. I agree but the Duck defense is horrible and the recruiting has been falling since Kelly left. 3 years and done if he doesn't turn it around.
  11. Exactly what sports radio has been saying all week out here. Harsin's name has come up but the talk seems to be luke warm on him.
  12. I don't like him...that's all. He wouldn't stay here long, so NO on Kiffen.
