  1. Not to personally attack the man but he was a prop 48 coming out of HS. I don't believe he has the brain pan for the job.
  2. 27 games is enough of a sample size. I'm done with Taggs
  3. Listening to the pregame and Lighthall is broadcasting from the Millers Ale House on N Dale Mabry. Is this the official watch party?
  4. I can't remember the last feel good W. A win where you left the game feeling good about the team and the direction of the program. CWT has 7 wins and none fall in to that category. So yes this fanbase has had it's proverbial teeth kicked in for the last 3-4 years so it's quite understandable the low level of expectations with the fans. It's up to the coaches and players to raise that level of expectation.
  5. with the finest throwing motion... and strongest arm I hope the coaches let him use it
  6. with the finest throwing motion... You don't understand, it's all about wheel routes, it is supposed to look like that. The wheel routes on the bus go round & round, round & round, round & round...
  7. Maryland just switched Qb's and they were smoked by Bowling Green. Why is it so far fetched that we win tomorrow? Because we're us and we can't have nice things.
  8. 1. NO 2. Defense is not as stout as expected 3. Maybe Selmons in Carrollwood for watch party. Not sure 4. they are likely to kick away from likely 5. AU-LSU
  9. 2014 - Wisconsin 2013 - Michigan State It's happened twice now, what matters is what happens in the next 4 weeks Agree 100%. When playing well against better teams for a quarter or two, do we know if these teams even spend much time preparing for us? My guess is they probably prepare for us like we prepared for FAMU. Perhaps slightly more intensely. We play them close for a half they make adjustments then blow us out in 2nd half. They do just enough to win. I believe the real test comes in conference play when both teams are playing intensely. If we solid, intense, competitive football for 4 quarters then I will be convinced. Not convinced or impressed yet. Nailed it!
  10. South Florida, S. Florida or USF - I just hope one of them beats Maryland this weekend
  11. Man I wish I could get on the optimism train like the rest of you. However, I see a coaching staff that has 7 wins in 26 games and one win where the margin was greater than 8 points and that was FAMU. This Saturday will tell a lot.
  12. For me it's simple, I will continue to think CWT isn't the right man for job unitl he shows me otherwise. What does he need to show me you ask. How about a good complete win over a decent(not great) opponent....FAMU doesn't count. By good complete win, I mean one where the offense defense and special teams look sharp and I leave the game feeling good about the direction of the program. He can start this week vs Maryland as they appear to be a below average P5 program. Here's hoping CWT makes me eat a huge pile of crow. Don't think it's gonna happen though.
  13. BG scored 48 points gained 692 yards of offense and ran 105 plays against MD. How points yards and plays will the Bulls amass? Points - 16 (3Fgs & 1 TD) Yards - 314 Plays - 68 I hope I'm wrong but that's the way I see it with CWT calling plays and QF at QB
  14. Maybe we need a 2 HC system. Put Taggs in for recruiting and anyone else on game day
  15. Good - First half defensive effort and lack of penalties Bad - Slow getting the plays in. Who's are OC again? Ugly - Arm tackling in the secondary
  16. He's right. This offense is neither uptempo or explosive. The best thing CWT can do to help the offense is stop calling plays. Turn that over to one of the OCs and take on more of a CEO with this team. Think Bobby Bowden 20 years ago.. he had great assitants that he let coach and got out of their way. They brought him as a closer on the recruiting trail and it was a perfect fit. Taggs should think about assuming a role like that if he wants to keep his job.
  17. Thought the exact same thing. Tempo was good on the first drive, probably scripted plays, but as time went on, started taking forever to get the plays in. And we are surprised why? We do one thing consistently well on offense, get the play call in late. That is 100% on CWT. Why does he want to call plays in an uptempo spread attack when his background is the slow boring West Coast power O? Answer - Ego He ran the spread in 1992 when he was a player in HS. He's got it covered. Thanks for clarifying...I feel better now
