    It seems like we hear about the team coming out flat all the time. Heard the same thing after the McNeese debacle. First game of the year with a new coach and not much passion...wtf! Find out why this team is always flat and you find out why we've sucked for 4+ years.

    Incredible optimism, but IMO, not a very credible prediction. Based on last 12 games against FBS competition, Taggart's offenses have only averaged 14.6 ppg while scoring 17 or fewer points 10 out of those last 12 FBS games. Soooo, while keeping the faith is commendable, I prefer a more realistic perspective. With that, my prediction is Memphis 41 - USF 17. Hard to pass on that obvious pattern, since 17 points has been the case in 5 of those last 12 FBS games. Like you, I had 41-17 in the prediction thread. After last night, I'm changing to 48-17. We're gonna get smoked.

    blah blah blah I've never seen a team that has to work so hard on passion and entusiasm. They're 18-22 kids playing a game they supposedly love....you would think the passion and entusiasm would come natural.

    I think we need someone a little more revolutionary. Also USF fans and Bucs fans can't stand Schiano. That would be a totally bizarre hire. Also, doesn't he run a very conservative pro style run offense and kick field goals? I thought that is what we just tried to change from? I don't remember Rutgers being good, but we would somehow lose to them. Not good enough if you ask me! As a life long resident of Tampa and a USF alum this would be like a kick to the balls
