  1. What will be his excuses today? 1. Humidity 2. Distance traveled 3. Time change 4. Altitude 5. Coaching My vote is 5
  2. This team will win 5 maybe 6 games this year. Should be good enough for another contract extension for Skip.
  3. The Jesuit Plant game will be starting at 8pm one block down on Himes Ave. I'm a Jesuit alum and my son just started there as a freshman. I would have liked to have gone to this game, but no way am I missing the opener for our Bulls. Let's get the party started. Go Bulls! 35K butts in the seats
  4. Mine were delayed because I forgot to make my Bulls Club payment. That payment goes to a separate department and they won't release the tickets until it is paid. Call the ticket office and they'll help you out. Got mine and can't wait till Sept 1st. Go Bulls!!!!!!
  5. Sounds similar to Josh Hamilton's story. Wish him the best.
  6. Apparently a done deal. http://sports.tbo.com/sports/MGBID1YZDIE.html
  7. Apparently JJ is having second thoughts after the shake up in Coral Gables. Sorry if already posted. http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/13544933.htm
  8. Getting talk about USF on sports radio in Tampa is a good thing. It creates awareness about the program.
  9. Hey E.T.- I'm one of those old alums you were hammering, class of '86, circa Charlie Bradley and Tommy Tonelli. When I was there, school spirit was non-existent. After graduating from USF, I went to UF for a couple of years of doctoral work and never finished, but became a huge Gator fan. It's hard not to become a Gator fan while living in Gainesville and having no previous loyalty to any program. To this day I am still a Gator fan. However, the Bulls are #1 now. Next year I'm going to join the Bulls club and get season tickets. This process of growing the fan base will take time and as the current students graduate with the experience of big time college football they will stay loyal and support the university. This is how it works. And of course winning helps. Hear that CJL. Go Bulls!
  10. He ran for 1300+ yards facing 8 men in the box 90% time. Truely amazing! He will fly under the radar and some team will get a steal.
  11. We need better offensive talent, players and coaches both. Hopefully, CJL is not willing to go down with his offensive assts, ala Tony Dungy.
  12. How hard is to recruit a decent drop back passer, with some wheels if he needs them. You see these types of quarterbaks at other schools and I'm talking mid-major D1 schools, not the powerhouses. Inquiring minds want to know. :-/
  13. Start by watching the Bucs play the Falcons, then we'll attend the 4 pm Christmas Eve childrens Mass. After that we'll head to my in laws for the traditional Christmas Eve dinner, including roast pig, black beans and rice, yuca and plenty of libations. Open presents Christmas morning, have parents and in-laws over for breakfast. Then head to my aunts for Christmas day open house. Come home and pack for Las Vegas, while my kids pack to go to NC with my parents for the Bulls thrashing of the Wolfpack.
  14. Christmas Vacation....How can you not love cousin Eddie emptying his chemical toilet in his bathrobe, while drinking a beer and smoking a cigar, first thing in the morning. A Christmas Story...Everybody loves Ralphie
