  1. You're right it is boring and rather bland. Kind of like our coach. It all makes sense now.
  2. That's okay our graduation rates for football student athletes is way up. Might be time for another contract extension., USF AD Doug Woulard
  3. Glad, they've got all these coaches coaching special teams. Somebody forgot to tell them to field the kickoff and not let it hit the ground.
  4. This thread reminded of the old John McKay quote. Reporter: Coach, what do you have to say about the execution of your offense? McKay: I'm all for it.
  5. He's not. After the Leavitt fiasco, they just wanted to go with a kinder gentler guy that would improve the image of the school, get along with the media, and improve the graduation rates and hope he wins some games along the way. That's why they gave him an extension. Not his won-loss record. I do miss the days when we had a coach on the sidelines with blood dripping down his nose.
  6. It's difficult watching BJ play. He seems like a great kid, super athlete, works his tail off, but he just isn't a BCS level QB. He's okay when we play teams with less talent. When we play teams with equal or superior talent where he has to rely on making quick decisions and accurate throws it's a disaster. I fault Skip for trying to turn him in to something he's not. He should have adapted his offense to his skill set and not the other way around.
  7. Also, the last home BE win was in 2010. Rutgers I believe. Talk about killing the fanbase.
  8. RU scored 24 on Tulane and 26 on Howard. They won't score more than 17 on USF. If we can't put more than 17 points on them then we don't deserve to win. It will be low scoring...something like a 23-17 type of score. Go Bulls!
  9. The reason they've had success against us in the past is because they have complex blitz packages and play press man coverage. In the past, BJ could not handle the blitz and find the open receiver and we didn't have receivers that could beat man coverage. This year is different....I hope. If BJ can make the right reads and hit the hot receiver we should be able to move the ball throught the air which will open the run game. Is it Thursday yet?
  10. We had both starting OTs Why was Edwards in at the end at LT? Was Williams hurt?
  11. No other team on our schedule makes my blood boil like Rutgers! Time to exorcise some NJ demons this Thursday night! Remember me guys.
  12. They're not quite as banged up as originally thought. Here's to exorcising a lot of demons this Thursday night! http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2012/09/rutgers_coach_kyle_flood_offer.html
  13. I've had 4 years of BJ Daniels and I'm over it. He was never a quarterback. I guess it's not his fault.
  14. My son says I'm too negative on the Bulls. But honestly I saw this coming. They looked like crap against UTC and too much talk about all the adversity. Playing on the road is about attitude.
