  1. Yep. The opportunity to put up some yards and points was MD and Memphis. This week will be tough sledding with the run game and no threat of the pass. I'm guessing 250-260 total yards and 10-13 points.
  2. Not quite to Holtz firing. I was at the 2012 Pitt game when everyone was out with torches and pitch forks. It was the last game and I believe he was fired right after or the next day. There is talent on this team to turn this around but I believe it would take Taggart doing a mea culpa and that's just not in his DNA. He will fall on his sword proving that a conservative power O west coast offense is the formula to success rather than admit he was wrong and change things. Look 2 hours to the north to see how a good coach can quickly turn around a program by adapting to the talent he has on hand. 28 games in and we're seeing the same crap. Taggart must free flowers or Harlan will free willie
  3. We were sold a bill of goods that the offense was going to change. Well it didn't. CWT is running the same boring power O that he is married to only he's running a little faster. Bench even said so in the spring. Hey maybe that's why he's not starting. Bench must be a traitor. Where is the speed option with Flowers? I think I can count a one hand the amount of times Flowers kept it on a read option. Where are the slants and crossing routes? He would rather prover his right with his offense and him in control than win games. Very sad. And he's taking this program down with him. Come one Harlan cut off the head of the snake and be done with it.
  4. I see what's going on here, Taggert in maintenance was let go. Coach Taggart is still here trying to figure out why his running plays didn't work after halftime.
  5. His tweet after the game had a lot of frustration in it. The losing is taking it's toll on everyone.
  6. That's what Bowden did in the heyday. He recruited and was a figurehead to the program. He hired great assistants like Mark Richt and Chuck Amato and let them run it the way they wanted to. Taggart could have success if morphed in to this type of role but alas that will never happen because he is a stubborn control freak.
  7. Agreed. After the FAMU game Reaves made it a point to say how good Bench looked in the second half. Almost like he was sticking up for his guy.
  8. with Hope or Reaves calling the plays. I bet we'd see some more option, maybe some roll outs with Flowers and maybe a few more shots across the middle which would open everything up.
  9. Team played well with a lot of energy which was good to see. Play calling was atrocious
  10. Don't do it or you would lose your money. Worst case is 1-6 after next three games Ooops...little hungover. yes 1-6 after the next 3 games. Can't win without the semblance of a passing game and teams will continue to shut down the run.
  11. I'd put money on being 1-7 after those 3 games.
  12. You don't know how right you are. Pride and subborness will cost him his job...hopefully sooner rather than later
  13. bausfkid, I believe Taggart is in over his head and will be fired at the end of the year. I would love for him to prove me wrong and the run table but I don't see that happening. He was hired as an offensive guy and that is the one phase of the game that has not produced anything in 28 games.
  14. In all seriousness, do you still think Taggart is the right guy for the job and will get this turned around?
  15. Talent is there but coaches don't know what to do with them
  16. That other coach is an idiot all he does is throw the ball
  17. I like it. Let's get a bunch made up in purple and hand them out for the white out game.
