  1. He's still at it. Taggs will have a mutiny on his hands if he keeps this up. http://www.usforacle.com/news/view.php/1011380/Taggart-points-to-mishaps-immaturity-as-
  2. The last two posts by Data and Army pretty much sum it up for me.
  3. Apparently Collin is reporting that there is dissention among the players at Taggart's post-game comments. Players feel like they are always being thrown under the bus by him after a loss. Hmm...I wonder where else we read that. Taggart is like a petulant little child. With these comments, he may have officially lost the team. hbryan said 11/15 would be date he's canned. At this rate, between these comments, Yborgate and our putrid on field performance he may not make it that far. Very sad. I wanted him so badly to work out. If he showed any type of improvement in win and losses he could have gone wild with recruiting. I guess we're in store for another coaching change and a rebuilding project. Sigh
  4. He's been coaching these guys through three full offseasons and three fall camps. If they STILL don't have the fundamentals down, that's on him bro. Bingo! He's had 27 games, 3 spring camps and 3 fall camps to get these players ready or find ones that will be ready to play fundamentally sound football. This is all on Taggs and he knows it.
  5. By saying you got out coached, it takes the pressure off the players and puts it on him and his staff. A good coach(leader) praises the players when they do well and takes the heat when they don't. The players aren't dumb they know what's going on.
  6. Thanks for checking in coach. Remember, attack each day with an enthusiasm unkown to mankind.
  7. from today's AAC teleconference irked the hell out of me. Taggs never takes responsbility for anything. He talked about the players not knowing how to win, being immature, not running plays with confidence and fundamentals that went "out the window" How about your fundamentals, coach? All of this may be true but he should nut up and take responsibility. I'm sure the players don't appreciate being thrown under the bus (sorry for the pun) all the time. When Spurrier got beat, he would always say we just got out coached. His schtick is wearing thin with the fans and probably the players too.
  8. You're right the sky is not falling but Bulls football still sucks under CWT
  9. Not winning another game is also a very real possibility Yep I have hard time finding another W on our schedule. Bye bye Taggs! Amazing how other teams improve and get better and we're stuck in some kind of time warp of crap football.
  10. This fall in the "be careful what you wish for" category too. agreed
  11. For the life of me I don't get the Schiano buzz. He had a mediocore record at Rutgers ran a boring offense just like Taggs and never won anything and he flamed out with the Bucs. Coach toes on the line is looking for a gig in Tampa so his family can stay here. Apparently everyone wants to stay in Tampa once they move here. Great city with great weather and no state income tax. His son is a linebacker at Berkley Prep so I'm sure he'll bring him along to USF. If he is the hire to replace Taggs, I may have to rethink my support to USF. I truly despise this gap toothed idiot.
  12. 3 wins max...I don't know which games but we will stumble in to 2 more wins because somebody has an off day or just plain plays like crap. Sad to say but I think this team has already given up on Taggs and the season
  13. crap vs crap in practice = crap play vs another team
  14. This is the problem. He is not the authorative figure they need. He's like another friend to these guys and they don't respect him.
  15. need someone to come in and lay down the law. Discipline and accountablity are lacking
  16. Players have no respect for Taggs as a head coach
  17. Taggart's already gone, the question is just when exactly do they physically cut the cord. Yep. Players and assistant coaches know it
  18. Yes. There's a culture of complacency and not caring about winning. See Adams tweet in the other thread
