  1. Great blocking by the WRs and TEs. Big key to our success in the running game.
  2. Funny, I can't remember us running one speed option play this year. With Mack and Flowers you'd think this would be deadly.
  3. no not the flea flicker for a TD. A great play, but for me not the most important. After Cuse got the score to 31-24, they had the momentum. We faced 3rd and 14 on our own side of the field and Bronson got the ball on a quick screen and broke a couple of tackles to pick up the first. If we give the ball back to Syracuse right then, things could have been different. Great game by the players and coaches! Now let's keep it going against UConn.
  4. When Syracuse comes out at halttime and marches down and scores and then we get stuffed for a 3 and out we can raise the white flag in the endzone.
  5. My how apathy has set in. Less than 24 hours till kick off and only 2 pages of predictions Guess this post pushes it to page 3
  6. He's like the energizer bunny of silly quotes- Taggart reiterated how important it will be for QB Quinton Flowers to utilize TEs Sean Price and Kano Dillon consistently against the Orange. "For a quarterback that can't necessarily see over the line all the time, it's great to have some big targets to throw the ball to," he said. ... http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/reilly-gibbons-could-debut-saturday/2248969
  7. I'd be okay if Taggart stopped talking to the media until he won a few games. Everything that can be said has been said
  8. "coaches and programs are judged on victories and defeats, not sound bites" Ouch! The student paper calling out Taggart http://www.usforacle.com/news/view.php/1012465/Enough-talk-USF-footballs-turnaround-mus
  9. A defensive minded head coach with fire in his belly. Seems like we had one before....
  10. More, more of the same http://www.tbo.com/sports/colleges/usf-bulls/with-surplus-of-backs-and-a-young-qb-bulls-returning-to-the-run-20151008/
  11. I wouldn't mind seeing him take over the wheel... http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/usf-defense-feeds-off-new-coordinators-energy/2248810
  12. Harlan is gonna have to find somebody like this. Someone who runs an exciting offense that peolpe are gonna want to come watch. Even if we lose 51-48, it's a whole lot more entertaining than the 3 yards, a cloud of dust and 17 points we see with Taggart. Come on Harlan, you're on the clock.
  13. Everything make sense now. The 1996 stats look like a typical Baylor game except the Baylor QB throws for a higher percentage.
  14. If low T grows a pair and develops a creative offense mind by Saturday, of course it's salvageable. Since that ain't happening, the answer is no.
  15. A run first offense should be able to pick up a 4th and 1 against Memphis...
  16. I just heard him on 620 this morning and he reiterated these exact comments. He's doubling, tripling and quadrupling down on his conservative run offense. When asked if he second guessed him self for not opening up the playbook in the second half, he said no. He did mention he should have called a little more play action. I don't think he's trying to get fired. I just think he's plain dumb.
