  1. The AAC Championship will destroy us. Classic trap game
  2. Considering my gameday tradition is to put a dip in everytime USF scores a touchdown, I would say that is an accurate description haha
  3. Speaking of USF gear, this was last weeks score. USF Gameday boots - on sale for $99 plus 30% off for creating a free Sears rewards account South Florida Bulls Top of the World NCAA Brave Trucker Cap - $24.99 USF Belts from Heads or Tails off of Kennedy Blvd - $24.99 each
  4. Check Gametime. They usually have good prices with minimal fees.
  5. You are correct, but every division champion makes the playoffs. Imagine if each year the NFL picked a couple division champions to leave out of the NFL playoffs. People would lose their minds. That is essentially what the CFP does. They have to pick at least one P5 conference champion to leave out each year, and last year they left out two in order to put a second SEC school in. IMO the CFP has two options, expand the playoff to 6 teams where every P5 conference champion (division champion) makes the playoffs with one at large G5 bid (wildcard) or expand to 8 teams with the five conference champions, one G5 bid, and two at large bids.
  6. Again, more participants than there are conferences (15 conferences I believe), so that is also a bad comparison. By other sports, I mainly meant the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, etc. All participants in their championship games have to win their conference championship first. I realize it is a different structure since their are only 2 conferences in each league, but that is why I suggested a 6 team playoff. A representative (champion) from each conference and then a G5 champion.
  7. You are technically correct, but every other college sport has a tournament where 64 teams make the cut (Basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball) (Lacrosse has 16, Golf has 20). This is impossible in football because you can only play one game per week.
  8. I am a firm believer that if you aren't good enough to win your conference, then you aren't good enough to win a national championship. IMO, there should never be a situation where there are two teams from the same conference in the CFP (see UG and UA last year...complete horse****). There isn't another sport, other than college football, in which a team that did not win their conference can play in the national championship (college basketball I suppose, but that is a 64 team tournament so that doesn't count). That being said, I think they should extend the playoff by 2 teams to bring the total to 6. The first 5 teams would be the P5 champions, and the last team would be the highest ranked G5 team. The top two ranked teams would get a first round bye, while 2 plays 6, and 4 plays 5.
  9. I think the majority of fear on this board is related to people setting their expectations low so that if we lose a game, they don't get too upset
  10. Ford had a great night, and Cronk quietly rushed for 100+ for the 5th straight game.
  11. My take on it is that USF has a history of playing to the level of competition that we are up against. That fact together with us getting Sawtelle back, Boyce making his USF debut on the defensive line, and lingering anger for what Houston did to us last year (4th and 24 anyone?) will keep this game close. I think we can win, but we can't rely on a 4th quarter rally again. We need to play a complete game.
  12. I haven't had that issue, but a couple days ago the site kept not loading and was bringing up a page saying that it was taking too long to respond. I believe that was Thursday. I havent had any issues since then.
  13. Yes sir! https://www.thedailystampede.com/platform/amp/2017/4/25/15418110/usf-lands-former-duke-defensive-linemen-marquies-price-and-brandon-boyce-charlie-strong-transfer
  14. We can't afford for our running backs to run pass patterns. We need the extra body in the backfield to pass block
  15. If I won $900m I would donate the rest of the money needed for the IPF, buy University Mall and tear it down, build a stadium complete with tailgating lots, name it after myself, and then give it to USF as long as they keep it named after me and give me 25% of all ticket sales and concession sales for the life of the stadium
