  1. I believe there is a way to change it if you want to. It’s in the store. You use your points to buy it if I remember right. Also, you type the username desired when you order so if you put something else I won’t tell if you don’t.
  2. As we prepare and get closer to opening day, I figured I would create a thread for everyone to post their new USF gear that they have purchased or made for the upcoming season. I have more stuff in the mail, but to get us started here is a flag I designed and had made to fly during tailgates (Censored as per TBP's policy ).
  3. The flat rate shipping envelopes would be around $8 per package to ship. So a safe bet would be to estimate the costs of the shirt at $25 and $8 for shipping. So I think $38 is actually perfect because it provides an extra $5 per shirt to be donated to the IPF fund. Whenever you are ready to go live, lets create a new pinned topic for it and give everyone a week or until we have 30 orders to place their order. Then I can put the deposit down and they would be ready 2 weeks later. It would be cutting it very close, but there is a possibility everyone could have them before Georgia Tech.
  4. Can I get that with a transparent background? So in other words, with just Bull U and the words "thebullspen.com" and "USF Online community"?
  5. You can embroider any logo. They use the jpeg or png file that you send them and create what is called a dst file. This file tells the embroidery equipment what stitches go where and what colors go where. The logo that I sent them to get quoted did not have the fans in the background.
  6. If you wanted a different logo, I’d say we’d need to work on that. Otherwise we would just need to start collecting money /taking orders. Then once we have enough people who have paid, we would contact Michael at B&B and let him know we were ready to go. Off the top of my head I’m not sure what else we would need to do.
  7. Per Michael at B&B sports, the pricing for the shirt I posted a picture of would be as follows: So it would be around $25+tax per shirt assuming we had at least 25 people order them. ($23.25 * 25 = $581.25; $581.25 + $50 = $631.25; $631.25 / 25 = $25.25 before tax and shipping to those who are not in Tampa). Should we decide that is what we wanted to do, I think we should coordinate with @Brad and set up way to pay and order, then once we have at least 25 members that have paid, we place an order. We could then round the price per shirt up to $35 to $40 per shirt, and the difference after tax and shipping would go toward the "$23 for 23 years of Bulls Football - Build the IPF campaign". Just an idea.
  8. I just reached out to my contact at B&B sports to see what the cost would be for the exact shirt pictured above and to see if they would have any issue with using the USF logo. Will let you know what they say
  9. I can email B&B sports and see what something like this would cost per shirt. Thoughts?
  10. We could get them for a lot cheaper than $50. I made a polo for my work and had it embroidered and the total cost (shirt and embroidery) came to $17. If we wanted to customize each one to add a username, I would expect it to be another $5 to $10 per shirt. That said, I would definitely get one. Edit: A little more information. For the work shirt I made, I used B&B sports off of Nebraska Avenue and designed the dst (embroidery) file myself. To have them design the dst file would be a $50 fee. Then the shirts would start at $15 depending on what type of shirt we chose.
  11. This is what I have gathered from reading various articles over the last couple days. Overall Rain has been wreaking havoc on practice, which furthers the need for an indoor practice facility Practices have been shifted from evening to morning due to storms, which means not everyone has been in attendance due to class conflicts and final exams The team appears bulkier than last year, which was a main point of emphasis in the offseason. a number of Bulls are carrying considerably more weight than they did last season. Among them: center Brad Cecil (from 290 pounds to 307); defensive tackles Kelvin Pinkney (288 to 305), Tyrone Barber (260 to 273) and Kevin Kegler (284 to 294); right tackle Marcus Norman (301 to 315) and linebacker Dwayne Boyles (210 to 227) The fall-camp roster features 7 new Division 1-A transfers, 5 of which are eligible and 2 of which we are waiting to hear back from the NCAA Offense: Offense is clicking even more than it was in spring and the players are very excited to see what they can do this year. Per Mitchel Wilcox, "We're struggling to find rotations because there's so many guys that can affect the game and go in and make a great play". Per Barnett, “Really, the team’s chemistry is insanely better than last year”. Cronkite is 100% healthy after having offseason surgery Ford has moved to slot receiver, but will still get some touches running the ball McDoom and Bryce Miller have been impressing coaches in the slot Jordan McCloud was named the number 2 QB Billy Atterbury is moving from right guard to left tackle and Donovan Jennings will move to right guard Offensive line's average weight is up to 316 Still waiting to hear from the NCAA about Latrell Williams (WR transfer from Tennessee) eligibility, seeking a hardship waiver Defense Patrick Macon (ILB transfer from OK state) has been impressive and is expected to lay some big hits on people this year. Nico Sawtelle is 100% healthy and up to 230lbs. Devin Studstill (DB transfer from ND) has been impressing coaches. Defensive linemen Darius Slade (ASU transfer, 6-5, 257lbs) and Ryan Thaxton (Tennessee transfer, 6-4, 245lbs) are expected to make a difference Still waiting to hear from the NCAA about KJ Sails (DB transfer from UNC) eligibility, seeking a hardship waiver
  12. More Here Only part of the article since the times decided to add a pay wall
  13. I don't think the hype surrounding USF football is big enough for Strong to hold a press conference regarding the first day of fall practice in April...
  14. 1. Tailgate scene can be whatever you make it. There are family friendly tailgates and more wild "party" tailgates. My tailgate is typically the latter. I would have your chapter President reach out to USF's Pike chapter and see if they would be interested in a joint tailgate. If not, and you're looking for a party, just find the person playing the loudest music haha. Historically, the south side of the stadium (lot 6 side) has been more family friendly while north side of the stadium (lot 4) is rowdier, since the student section is on that side. 2. Depends on what type of nightlife you are looking for. Soho is a popular spot for college age and young professionals. Features 5 or 6 large bars all within half a mile of each other (Macdintons, Yard of Ale, Soho Saloon, Hyde Park cafe, dubliner, and world of beer are some of the more popular ones). A lot of the fraternities and sororities from USF and from UT (University of Tampa) frequent the bars there. Macdintons does happy hour (all you can drink for $10) from 6-8 and again 8-10 on Fridays. So $20 and you can get hammered for 4 hours. Another popular spot for young professionals and college kids is downtown tampa. There is Franklin Manor, American Social, Jacksons, Gen X bar, sparkman wharf, armature works, and a couple other bars and rent-able electric scooters to get you from bar to bar. More popular with young professionals because it can get pricey at those bars. Ybor is also a popular nightlife area, but I do not personally spend much time there and don't know too much about it. I know a lot of people active in the EDM scene hang out there. If you are into Country bars, check out Dallas Bull. It is probably the largest bar in the area. First floor is country music and has 4 bars, pool tables, line dancing, etc. Second floor has 2 bars and plays top 40/dance. They have ladies/college night on Thursdays and all you can drink wells/beer on Saturdays for $15. Saturday is by far their busiest night. Last place for nightlife is Downtown st. Pete. There are too many bars to mention all jammed into one block. Some of the best ones (in my opinion) are Parks and Rec, Macdintons, yard of ale, five bucks drinkery, one night stand, and 260 first. There is also a rooftop bar called the canopy. 3. Again, depends on what type of beach you are looking for. If you are looking for touristy/family friendly, go to Clearwater beach (pier 60). If you are looking for quiet and relaxing, check out indian rocks beach, madiera beach, or reddington beach. If you are looking for a party, check out St. Pete beach (specifically Post Card Inn, known as PCI or cheek city). 4. Gotta get yourself a pub sub from Publix haha.
  15. There's a walmart at i-275 and dale mabry that I have seen RV's at before. Just a short 1 mile drive after the game haha.
  16. Apparently Jahquez Evans had ankle surgery in June and isn't expected to see the depth chart this season, so DeBiase gives us some much needed depth this season. Next season will be an interesting quarterback battle for sure.
  17. The didn't say we would be an easy win, but they definitely discount us and expect them to win.
  18. Our entire defense is going to be made up of P5 transfers . That is a bit of an exaggeration but it seems like we have had quite a few defensive transfers, and Lord knows we need them on that side of the ball. Looking forward to seeing if Charlie can get the production out of them that we need
  19. Article finally posted about this today. Below is an excerpt:
