  1. It is true that every conference is top heavy. The difference, however, between the AAC and a P5 conference is that if a bottom tier team beats one of the top teams in a P5 conference, they get ranked and are assumed to be a top 25 team. If a bottom tier team beats one of the top teams in the AAC, the assumption is that the team that lost wasn't actually good at all and then neither team is ranked.
  2. You can't honestly say that put in the same situation, BB wouldn't complete those same passes. QF was (and will be) one of the greatest players to play at USF, but Blake is a much more accurate passer and can still run the ball when needed (albeit not as effectively as QF). The loss was not QF's fault, but with a more effective passer in that game I feel like we win.
  3. They give the players that are already at the school cash to show the recruits a good time. In my experiences, I was never handed any cash as a recruit. It would not surprise me if that happened though. A lot of the larger schools give recruits gear (shirts, shoes, etc.).
  4. I am very familiar with the college football recruiting world (was recruited out of highschool, have some friends that played at various colleges around the country). Coaches get a recruiting budget. They give players money from this budget to show recruits a good time in an effort to get them to choose their school. The players take this money and buy alcohol, escorts, hookers, drugs, etc., and then pocket whatever they don't spend. So we can try to pretend that Louisville is some disgusting college without any integrity because they got caught, but the only difference between them and any other major university with a football or basketball team is that they got caught. Not saying any of this is right, but it happens.
  5. They might be dissing us, but they are talking about us. A win is a win, and I'm sure the other 92% of teams that are not undefeated would love to be the worst undefeated team.
  6. I had thought that USF, Navy, Memphis, and UCF were all ranked at the same time last season. But I went back to 2016 and looked at the rankings for each week through this week and it looks like the most amount of AAC teams ranked at one time is 3, which has occurred multiple times over the last 3 seasons.
  7. Ehh, I would rather have a blackout against a team whose color is not black.
  8. I was going to embed the video of the Vincent Davis hit but I can't figure it out haha.
  9. Best touchdown imo was when Vincent Davis absolutely destroyed Umass's kick returner, scooped up the fumble, and scored the touchdown.
  10. Their schedule has been a lot tougher than ours to this point (Texas, Temple, Houston). We need to learn some discipline during this short week. If we take care of the ball and keep our penalty yardage to a minimum we should be fine. Should.
  11. I thought the rule was if you were ejected for targeting in the first half, you only missed the rest of the game, but if you're ejected in the 2nd half, you miss the rest of the game and the first half of the next. Wasn't sand's targeting in the first half?
  12. If our offense can put on a similar performance as they did against Umass, without the penalties, we should be okay. If our lack of discipline shows through again, it will be a close game. I think that this team has made improvements on offense and defense, it has just been overshadowed by penalties on both sides of the ball. This game is a good opportunity to put everything together (a complete game) and build confidence heading into Houston.
  13. His 77-yard scoring run in the third quarter was the ninth-longest in school history, and his 76-yarder later in the period ranked 10th. He enters Friday night's game at Tulsa ranked second in the conference in rushing yards per game (151.5), and will try to become the first Bull to record four consecutive 100-yard rushing games since Marlon Mack in 2016. Can't write one article without mentioning he is a UF transfer. So annoying. Go Cronk though!
  14. I think Iowa, texas a&m (beat #13 kentucky), and san diego state (beat boise st) jump us and we are ranked at 26
  15. Same, but only a bit. Not much though. More so cause I'm scared ****less for the next few games
