  1. With Flowers cutting into his carries, he didn't put up the numbers from last year. He's still a great back, but as far as NFL scouts go, do you think his stock dropped? I'm hoping he'll be back for his senior season.
  2. That's not how I remember the conversation in my head at all. In my version, Strong was a little more positive and Willie was a little more open-minded. Buzzkill!
  3. tickpick.com currently has seats in section 102, row C w/ club access for $72 each. I always use them because they don't run high fees like ticketmaster and stubhub.
  4. I like the idea of the reduced ticket prices. The object here is to attract new fans or fans who might normally watch on television. Maybe do some kind of promotion with local schools. Open up the upper deck and sell for $10 or maybe family packs. I doubt this will affect season ticket holders because they don't want to sit up that high. You can charge a premium price for a premium product, but when we are playing an American Conference schedule, it's not enough to drag the casual fan to the stadium.
  5. It would be nice if these two guys would run into each other sometime. Who knows what would come out of that conversation.
  6. I never really noticed how creepy he sounds, but since you all mentioned him, I can't get that voice out of my head. Thanks!
  7. I had a ding on my car from the UCF car parked next to me. I guess Moral Victories, right?
  8. Don't forget about our empty trophy case. They like throwing that one in there. I'd still rather have all our Big East wins over their CUSA trophies. Has anyone ever cared about CUSA?
  9. And our offense only has one gear which is trying to score. Has anyone watched us trying to run out the clock?? It's horrible. We end up running up the middle 3 times for no gain and end up punting. Yes, it was the end of the game, but it's up to the other team to make the stop. It was a running play, it wasn't a throw into the endzone.
  10. I guess in his mind, he thought he was performing better in practice and should be starting. Sanchez lacks the size, but I think his ability to make quicker reads probably put him in the starting spot. With the defensive problems all year, the coaches couldn't afford to play Cherry and have him learn from his mistakes.
  11. I was wondering why we didn't jump one of those Milton sideline passes. It seemed like it took forever to get to the receiver, yet the defender continued to play 10 yards off, just enough to let the guy catch the ball. I assume they are being told to keep everything in front of them at all costs.
  12. We had some UCF fans in front of us who would stand up and announce to everyone when UCF got a first down. Apparently, the rest of their fans have trouble following the game and need to be told when to cheer.
  13. Has anyone tried contacting USF Athletic Department or maybe even your season ticket rep. to find out who we could talk to about switching up the music? It's great to talk about it on here, but has anyone been motivated enough to do anything about it?
  14. That's some rocket powered Bull Rage or maybe Bush's Baked Beans.
  15. What price range are you looking at? I'm seeing (3) tickets in section 109 Row C, w/ club access for $66. If you don't mind sitting a little higher, section 213, Row F has 3 for $47 w/ Club Access. I use Tickpick.com because they don't charge a high fee like ticketmaster and they have instant download or if you install their phone app, they ticket person can just scan your phone. I swear I'm not affiliated with them.
  16. Too bad they weren't for USF / Florida State, you might have made your money back. With second-hand markets still selling tickets in that area for under $50, you might want to lower your price a bit or you might get stuck with them.
  17. Love to hate the Tinmen!! How many short buses are they bringing from Orlando?
  18. The UCF defense is much improved from last year and the offense has provided enough production to keep them from going 0-12 again. This will be closer than most think. Both teams will agree to a running clock after the first quarter when USF scores a record setting 7 touchdowns. UCF fans stick it out until half time before returning to Orlando with a moral victory of scoring 3 points. 1) Da Bulls 2) 749 - 3 3) Marlon Mack 4) Rodney Adams 5) 80,000 yds
  19. I agree with you. Can you imagine the outrageous number of touchdowns and offensive stats we'd be putting up now if we had a defense like season's past that made stops / caused turnovers and put the offense back on the field?
  20. They don't pass very much so in order to get any turnovers we need pressure up front and penetration through the line to disrupt the option. I just don't think we have the play-makers to do this. We've seen running backs running free around the ends in every game. I'm hoping for the best, but I think we're walking into the perfect storm. A finely tuned running machine against an abysmal run defense. Defenses have all ready game-planned to stop that quick bubble screen to Adams or Mack. We saw Temple blow that play up several times. I think Navy will do the same. I'll be at the game and I'll hope for the best. We will need to score every possession because our defense will be on the field all day with Navy's long time-consuming drives.
  21. The optimist that I am, before the Temple game I bought extra tickets for Navy to bring my wife's parents to the game, hoping to turn them into Bull's fans. If I have to listen to her dad complain all game about how bad our defense is, I'll go broke in the beer line. The team might lose bad, but we'll be there supporting them.
  22. If we don't beat Navy, we really don't deserve to be in a conference title game. We are not a good team on the defensive side of the ball. The offense over-compensated in the first half of the season. Now that teams are starting to slow them down, our lack of defense is more noticeable. I think the offense is trying to do too much at this point which as led to some turnovers / fumbles when trying to continue a drive because they feel they have to score every possession.
  23. For some, anything but an undefeated season is a complete failure. It's a totally unrealistic expectation. I remember the days of having a good defense and sub-par offense. This offense is exciting to watch, but they shouldn't be expected to score a td every possession in order to win the game. Let's not tear down the team and throw out the season because of one game. I think they know what they need to improve. Let's hope for an effort against Navy similar to how FSU played us after losing to Louisville. These guys need to be mad and pissed off at losing.
