    In all honesty, I have nothing against the guy. Just wish he'd change up his delivery. You'd think someone would have mentioned it to him over the years. How about "Here comes your Herd of Thunder marching band!!!!!"

    Anyone else cringe when you hear this before the band hits the field? I have nothing against the announcer, but it sounds so cheesy. Can we start a petition or something? The last 4 games he said this, we lost. Coincidence?? Maybe a FireHOTAnnouncerGuy.com site is needed?

    Exactly this. When he has time to throw the ball and his receiver has separation, he looks great. Against the 9 other opponents on the schedule, he will have constant pocket pressure and his first option won't be open every time.

    I'm guessing at the time, Harlan really wanted Strong and the only way to get him here was to set it up this way. I think the Foundation is going to be on the hook for a big payout if he's fired.

    I think he was looking at him the whole time. I was screaming at the television, "Throw the Ball!!" It was like he waited for him to be covered and then threw it. I'm still trying to figure out why they aren't throwing to Wilcox as much as they should. He should be our go-to receiver. Did he even get 1 throw in the first half?

    I was pulling for Barnett, but the final straw was on a 3rd and long and he had Wilcox open along the sideline and he hesitated and hesitated and by the time he finally threw it, there was a defender on him and he didn't get the first down. At this point, call it a re-building year and put in McCloud. We know where we stand with Barnett.

    It might be a little cringy for the older generation, me included, but I can get used to seeing it every time we have a great play.

    They seem to really be putting all their eggs in one basket with Ford. If he goes down, no one else can catch a ball or run a route? I think our "NFL" caliber tight end only had 1 catch. We've been hearing all off-season that he's a mismatch for the defense. I guess it all comes down to who is distributing the ball.

    As long as they are improving each week, I'll be happy. My tickets are all ready purchased so I'm along for the ride. Hopefully not too many bumps.

    I think our early success right from the beginning blinds some to the fact they had a football team 18 years before us. We were beating ranked teams within 8 years of existence, while there was talk of dismantling their program all together after 6 years. They've had an 18 year advantage to build a winning team, stadium and fan base.

    Face it, we're stuck with re-treads trying to rejuvenate their career or an unproven new coach whose vision might not translate to the next level. Either way, you're hitting the re-start button. Probably doesn't really matter at this point. Having to buy out Strong and then pay another coach is counter-productive when we're still trying to raise money for an IPF. I can see if donors / boosters were jumping out of the woodwork to throw money at USF Athletics, but it's not the case.

    I wonder if Sterlin started using a playbook. McNeese managed to put up 34 on Southern. Although, 6 fumbles by the other team doesn't hurt either.
