    The best part was watching Brian Kelly's face gradually getting redder and redder after every mistake. He probably slapped a few players after that one.

    That's one area we never seem to have an issue filling. With the promise of seeing the field sooner, they might be able to pull in a better recruit. If we could get a back with the size of Mike Ford and work ethic of Andre Hall.....maybe they can build on at the college of medicine.

    It's probably a no-brainer to most non-USF fans. A running team with an established running back against a team who went on a 7 game skid to finish last season and who has issues stopping the run. Yeah, the guy sounds like a tool. Hope we prove him wrong and he's crying in his beer after the game.

    Quinton with only 4 yards on 2 carries last night, although their leading rusher had 8 carries for 7 yards, so it doesn't say much. I think he could light it up in CFL if the NFL thing doesn't work out.

    After the meltdown last season, it's really tough to predict what team will show up this season. The coaches and players are talking the talk and saying the right things. Will we have more wins that FSU? That poll projects them to win 7.5 That might be just about right with Willy not calling offensive plays this season.

    I was on the receiving end of the transfer process. I received an email from University of South Florida saying tickets had been transferred to me with a link to Accept tickets. When I clicked the link, it took me to the USFbullstix website to sign in or create an account. I all ready had an account, so after logging in, I clicked the Accept Ticket link and it added the tickets to my account.

    In the past, when I bought tickets and printed them out, they would list Club Access which I'd show the Club Access attendant to get into the Club Section. Looking at the digital ticket, it only lists what gate to enter and seat number. How will the attendant know you have Club Access if it's not shown on the digital ticket? Nevermind, just realized it says Club Access at the top of the ticket. More coffee needed....

    Well, you don't want to show up the Almighty NCAA. They make their decision on their time when they feel like it and won't be guilted into doing it sooner.

    If we can't make a few stops, it will be our defensive line cramping. Their offensive line will not get gassed by being on the field more.

    If you've followed our recruiting over the last 10 years, you'd know we never get P5 depth. Every year we get several guys who have offers from P5 schools and choose to stay local, but for most, USF was the best offer. It's unrealistic to think we'll ever be stacked 2-deep with P5 talented players. Roberts and Sanders played out of need last season. They are young. I'm sure with more practice, they will get better. Let's not chase them off yet.

    I don't think the other team was out sigh-seeing in between games either. Didn't mean for it to sound like an excuse. I didn't expect them to win. Carleton is one of the best teams in Canada. They beat Cincy last year by 19. I just meant the team is headed in the right direction.
