    I like to stay grounded in my expectations. Some on here like to pump up teams to God-like status in the off-season and then burn down the house when the team doesn't accomplish what they predicted / expected.

    I don't remember it happening either. I'll just assume it didn't until I see an article or picture. I'm pretty sure at that time Gore was starting and he was a backup. Would have been career suicide.

    That's probably a given at this point. Might have a few more go with him if Strong is still here at the end of the season.

    I enjoy UCF's misery just as much as the next Bull's fan, but couldn't this have gone in the AAC forum?

    Sadly, we aren't a first-choice destination. We have to over-pay to pull a good up and coming assistant coach away from their current successful situation. Incentives aren't going to work on a re-build where success won't happen for another 2-3 years. It would be great to get one, though.

    sad, but true.... hopefully a few wealthy alumni are embarrassed enough to donate Charlie's buyout so we can hire a new coach and return to mediocrity sooner than later....

    I'm pretty sure everyone knows Strong needs to go at this point. It will be homecoming. Why give our illegitimate step brother to the east any more embarrassing ammunition to hold over us.

    As a parent of a 10 year old, I appreciate your refrain. I'm in 215 and during the Wisconsin game, there was a Bull's fan liberally using the F word like he was getting paid to do it. I left after the 3rd. Increasing my blood pressure wasn't worth staying.

    It probably depends on the quality of job offers he receives at the end of the season. At some point it will sink in that the deck is stacked against a G5 getting into the playoffs. They have a good shot of winning out. Their speed and size compares well to the rest of the G5.

    I feel bad for the seniors. He's getting a re-do and they are stuck playing out a season that won't get any better.
