    Yeah, it was receivers coach. Sounded great at the time locking down a successful local high school coach.

    He turned down a position last time. I think Willy wanted him as OC...or maybe another position. There should be an article somewhere. I think he actually accepted and then had second thoughts and stayed at Plant. He's a great person and coach. We'd be lucky to get him. He was actually one of my high school teachers before he taught at Plant.

    They made it work at Oregon for a short time. We don't even know if both want to be HC or if one would be happy coaching offense or defense.

    I think he's currently special teams coach for the Ravens who are on a Super Bowl run....doubt he'd be interested.

    He knows what works here and what type of athletes he needs and probably still has the offensive playbook laying around.

    This is the best of times when it seems like anything is possible and we can get any coach we want. Reality will hit us next week when a decision is made and we'll be back to complaining.

    I don't know if I can blame Leavitt for not consistently pulling recruits away from the big 3 in Florida and other high profile schools. We were in a BCS conference, but still a step down the ladder. It's not like 5 star recruits were lining up to come to USF because we were in the Big East.

    I guess we'll find out how many were Strong recruits and how many were USF recruits. The new coach might not want half of them.
