The interesting thing is WR. We are deep so there's multiple combinations that could work. I would rather have McCants in the slot personally and let Bronson/Dukes get the reps outside. Hopefully Bronson can develop even more this year to give us that speed threat to stretch the field. WR MVS/Salomon/Dingle WR Bronson/Dukes/Alaka Slot McCants/Antoine/Barr Its going to be interesting to see how they structure this defense. I know there's a lot of talk about the 3-3-5 being similar to the 4-2-5, but we don't have that traditional stand up end that can also drop in coverage. Maybe Vincent Jackson. I'd like to see them take a DL off the field and get Jaymon or Watts in there on passing downs. I can also subscribe to that mock depth chart. I want to say that even though they may not be the biggest I'm pretty big on Danny Thomas and Craig Watts. I feel like Watts can be better than Jaime Byrd was in the 4-2-5. Thomas is fast and finishes tackles strong.

As fr true freshman making an impact. I'm going with both or one of the "Kelvin BoyZ". Kelvin Kegler and Kelvin Pickney are two DT's that I think will be great. Mark my words. Yeah, but you also said Gunsby was going to be a great QB here...kidding! I don't have a great sense for impact true freshman, but Dingle might be the most talented...but we're deep, so I'm guessing redshirt (like I wish we RS'd Soloman as WR). Please tell me we don't have a Berry coming in as well. Shades of WVU.

That could be good and bad for us.

I'll bet many of these kids have never even been out west. Could be a challenge.

It shouldnt surprise if we struggle on the first game. Hopefully we have a solid game plan for whatever trick plays they throw at us.

My earlier comment about the team starting practice in July was meant to start a discussion about burn out and fatigue as the season wears on. If we make it to where some of them predicting us to go you are looking at a 6 month season and lots of practice. Good for the fans, hard on the players.
