The Bucs traded up (106 pick) to take a kicker in the 2nd round, why not trade up and get Mack in 3rd or 4th round.  Maybe trade the kicker to move up, that would be a classic buccaneer move during the Draft.

Ugh

Remember when we took Doug Williams and Ricky Bell instead of Earl Campbell and Warren Moon?

My bad, it was Williams and Bell instead of Dorsett and Campbell (everyone whiffed on Moon)

I remember when they passed on Tony D. That was Mackey wanting his USC kid in Tampa. Poor Ricky Bell had that tragic end.

And Earl Campbell and Tony Dorsett art both in the Hall Of Fame. Bell? Not so much.

Point is, Bucs have a long history of making spectacularly bad draft picks

Best thing Ricky Bell ever did was hook up with Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe.

CBS project Mack as the 6th best back. 3rd round.
