I consider anybody on this list who committed on 1/31/17 as a flip.

The class looks respectable.  Fills some needs.  Few nice size O-lineman.  Better than I was expecting.

I'd say the A- is fair, given the situation.  Really interested to see what this staff can do with a full year of recruiting.

C+.    But no reflection on current coaching staff.  Slick Willie was a D-.  Strong had some late pick ups.

I think Taggart was able to do a better job when he first came in, even with the team coming off of losing seasons. He had two four stars in his first class.

I'll go with a B all things considered.  Adding Brini and AJ Davis would have made it an A

Sure he had two 4 stars, one of which being D'Vario Montgomery who did absolutely nothing. The other being Sean Price who was talented but didn't do much. Outside of Price, that class was pretty bad. Anyone remember Chris Bivins? It's one thing to judge a current class off stars because you haven't seen them, but not past classes. Fans get excited over stars, the coaches responsibility is to get the best players regardless of what scout/247/rivals say. He didn't do a very good job of that his first year.

Those 3 came in the 2012 class. Meaning between the 2011 and 2012 seasons, so that was Skip's class entirely.

Sean Price was a Holtz recruit, as was Montgomery.

I stand corrected, 2013 was Taggarts first class. I apologize. However, the two 4 star recruits that year were Lamar Robbins and Derrick Calloway so the point remains the same.
