Coach Woodie is a good recruiter, and probably is making about the same or maybe a little more at Oregon than at USF. Put aside your opinions and know that USF just had a special year and I am happy whenever something good happens to someone who worked hard to make USF so good last year.

I swear I think I have heard it about every hire that has happened in CFB this year. Edited January 20, 2017 by NewEnglandBull

You have every right to your opinion, but there is a reason we won 2 games in Coach Taggart's first year and 11 in his last. Not every coach recruits at the same level. I remember we had an assistant back in the day that was so bad at recruiting that they practically hid recruits from him. He knew football and could teach it, but he couldn't relate to kids. No I get that, but the phrase is so overused and unwarranted with some.

He didn't prove anything to me as a DC beyond being better than Brezzy...which was not hard. But I heard he's a good recruiter so gotta pay the man. Why not put him in a spot to maximize his strengths and minimize his shortcomings? Do what you do best, and don't step on your ****, ... or ours!
