FSU will destroy us!  ^_^

Ah, bring it. Maybe it gives us an early look at an option...if he wins the job (ahem).

Word is that Golson was leaning heavily towards UF .... until JG made his decision to transfer there. Everett wanted no part of THAT qb battle.

He can't be serious.  I mean why would anyone actually believe that?

Appears the NCAA is looking to possibly change the graduate transfer rule which would be just plain wrong, IMO .... but definitely won't be surprised if those hypocritical aholes do it.

If they have earned a degree why does it matter?

I don't believe Golson is coming to USF. I think he intends to go to a P5 team. I read a headline that mentioned that he gave Notre Dame a list of ten P5 teams under consideration and they approved all of them.

That pretty much seals it. He's not coming to USF.

I refuse to give up hope until I read he signed ...

Three thoughts:

1.  Ah, man, I was hoping to face Maguire, who seemed HORRIBLE in his one game, saved by 1 miracle play.

2. FSU just got a LOT better, sadly.

3.  Bowden keeps saying stupid things, and is going to create a growing list of anti-Bowden fans.

Maquire isn't nearly that bad, and FSU has other QBs with talent.  If Golson ends up the starter, it won't be a huge difference over the other options.  We're talking about a guy that lost his job at ND, not one of the best QBs in the nation.

If you are referring to Bowden's comment about Winston, it was taken completely out of context and he didn't even know he was being interviewed when he made those comments.

Exactly ... If a kid has graduated, I think he's earned that "free agency". There's no rational reason for them to change that.
