CousinRicky, the number of posts I have is irrelevant. You must spend a lot of time on your computer with your 6,744 posts.

We are 7-17 now, and I am extremely disappointed in the Men's Basketball Program. I expected better!

I had my doubts about Antigua when hired and the results so far have not changed my views. The play he drew up at end of regulation vs. Tulsa was brutal!

Competitive doesn't really matter to me, as we get close but can't finish strong. Win a few games and my view will change.

Antigua is striking out on a lot of recruits also. Very disappointed.

With only 3 experienced players returning and one of those being a guy that was coming off a season ending injury last year, then throw in a new coach, new system, new philosophy, how could anyone actually know enough about the team and players' abilities at this level to even form enough of an opinion to have expectations?

Answer is simple ..... they couldn't .... at least not an informed opinion.

Finally! Somebody other than me getting their asss handed to them!!!!

I was not enthusiastic about the hiring of Orlando Antigua. As we are headed to another loss (now 7-17), my doubts are growing.

His recruiting is not all that impressive so far either.

Disappointed in the results so far to say the least!

CSH?  Is that you???

A little premature wouldn't you say?

Especially since the Bulls are up 41-37 at the moment (speaking of premature...)

And as my old USF political science professor Dr.Levey used to tell the class "no body like premature."

My wife had him as well and had many stories.

Last night we were down 1 point - with the ball - with two minutes left. Previously we were tied at 00:00.

Given who we are right now, that is clearly being competitive.

Cousins took a wakeup pill last night. No idea what got into him, but his mind was in the game and he was neither dribbling nor fouling. To me, that's coaching (I hope).

After the break, Holston found his long shot. Whatever COA said, it worked.

AC stopped thinking and shot a few again, and didn't dawdle upcourt like he usually does. Maybe we need other teams to press us more?

Finally hit an alley oop in conference play - IIRC that was the first all year. That takes timing, confidence, and chemistry against good D.

Unlike football, this team is trending upwards - smells a lot like coaching to me.

If it walks like a coach, and quacks like a coach...

i could be wrong, but I think most uninformed people didn't expect a whole lot this year :2cents:
