I believe (and hopefully) we are in much better shape with Harlan, than we would have been under Woulard with such and instrumental piece of our recruiting organization leaving.

Meaning, I think Harlan will act to ensure that we do not suffer a drop off. Gonella seems to have done a good job for us.

Wonder how they get around NCAA rules. Or they just do the research for the schools, no contact. Of course, that is more of a scouting service than recruiting. Unless, he knows the P5 is splitting from the NCAA and those rules go bye bye. Edited February 7, 2015 by slick1ru2

From my understanding, it would be a service comparable to other ones already in business. They compile scouting reports and such for schools, and schools purchase them in bulk. I think.

Which I would call scouting. Recruiting, to me, is contacting recruits and selling the school which is the confusing thing about what he said he is going to do.
