They're fine, but it still irks me that UA said they were inspired by South Beach when they debuted the theme a few years ago. And any helmet we wear that isn't the chrome or green abomination is good by me.

 

Thanks for posting this. I _thought_ it all started with roundball.

 

I remember them showing up for that tourney and thinking, "Kids today...with their SoFlo unis and rock and roll music..."

Probably just new ones.

 

The SoFlo uniforms are okay in my book, my only gripe is that picture of the baseball uniform has a green helmet with a gold bill, and while the green seems to match the darkest green on the SoFlo jersey, there isn't really any gold on it. I do like the gradient idea, definitely a cool nod to the 70s.

 

The football one needs a few tweaks, but I'm not surprised they're not caring as much about the green/gold being our exact colors as many teams are using uniform combos to catch the eye of the kids.

I also dig the so flo design. Always need to stay up with the times if you want to keep appealing to the young talent. I hope they finally come up with something special for the helmet.

Pretty cool design, but we're talking a cardinal here. "Talons-out" isn't really intimidating...unless I'm a sunflower seed.

Oh yeah you are right. Funny! I hate it by the way. Hideous. The cards had nice unis for years.
